Here is what she said.

"Being dead makes it difficult," she confirmed. "They were trying to bring me back but I kind of feel like if I die in a movie, I should die actually. I'm that way, and that character is not as complex as Salt. It would just be doing the exact same thing in another movie, so it's not that interesting to me."

It'd be a bit too ridiculous to bring her back to life for a sequel. The first movie was pretty crazy, but re-animation is crossing a line.

Glad to see that a sequel would retain some form of realism.

oh well dang at least she was thinking what i was thinking. fox is dead and yeah definitly should stay dead. they just wanted her to return so they could get more people interested in going to see the movie.

C'mon, they already had us suspend a shitload of disbelief in the 1st one... trying to explain everything by science (super adrenaline gives you superpowers, a waxy white cell bath will heal your broken bones and bullet wounds in hours, you can curve a 0.25 oz going 700 mph in a span of 30 feet).

If they're bringing people back to life, it just becomes a supernatural story. Also, the whole concept of assassins, killing, martyrdom etc. is 100% moot if you have that re-animation wild card.

Kudos to Angelina for showing she has a 70+ IQ by not doing the sequel.

I'm with Anil. I hated Wanted. I like her explanation though. Bringing her back would be idiotic. ...which I guess would be fitting for a sequel to Wanted. Bazinga.

She used to be real hot i reckon. Round about 'Hackers' time she was way up there.
The book was great but so different to the film they should have just called it something else.
