NASCAR's WONDER WOMAN Themed Car Crashed And Burned (Literally)

Well, Warner Bros. was probably hoping this wasn't going to happen! A lot has been said about NASCAR's Wonder Woman themed vehicle, but it ended up being engulfed in flames after a nasty crash.

Danica Patrick took to the Go Bowling 400 at the Kansas Speedway on Saturday in a Wonder Woman branded NASCAR, but things went horribly wrong for the vehicle (luckily, the driver emerged unscathed). Patrick was battling Joey Logano for 11th place when a mechanical failure believed to be a brake rotor led to an explosion on Logano's car which sent him careening into Patrick's car before both were hit by a third racer. That resulted in not just a scary crash, but some fiery wrecks as well.

Patrick and Logano walked away unscathed, but that third driver - Aric Almirola - was trapped in his car and suffered a compression fracture in his back. It could have been a lot worse, but sounds nasty.
