no its a step backwards it should be movie simple, before people say this is the most sensible thing to do because super hero movies with female leads don't work well lets see what movie were they oh yes Elektra and a Catwoman wannabe not exactly A list heroes are they, not big enough of character to hold up there own movies.

Where as wonder woman who is basiclly an icon now, and is recognised gets relegated to the small screen. I'll give the TV show a chance because no point judging it before its even made, but I still think Its stupid.

Congrats to her on winning the role. Though I think she looks a little young for the part and may end up being like Wonder Girl... or another Smallville clone. I hope it does well, whatever the case may be.

... or they could always make a Flash TV series again, I mean, just take a look at how those effects guys did the Super Speed special effects for No Ordinary Family's Julie Benz 's character - simple, sometimes cheap, yet very effective and believable at times.

I find her a bit young too.

But who knows.... maybe they make her look a bit older and more interesting as Wonder woman.

and maybe they'll do more than 2 seasons, and we'll see her grown year after year.

Time will tell.

So apparently any Teen American will do as Wonder Woman as long as she's female?

This actress looks nothing like the warrior that Wonder Woman supposed to be, she has a plain as Jane physique that's the total opposite from the athletic presence WW supposed to have. She doesn't even have the face for it with her cutey teen cheeks. WW supposed to look like Demi Moore hard but beautiful, not a Beverly Hills 90210 teen!

Hurry up and cancel this after the pilot, PLEASE!

@Ceejay. Agreed 100% I was so hoping they would go with Megan Gale, she's got the sharp features and strong jaw etc, she looks very much like Diana.

Ah well, still going to watch it, prolly end up dying on it's feet.
