WONDER WOMAN 1984 Star Gal Gadot Is Expected To Bring The First Footage From The Sequel To SDCC

We figured Wonder Woman 1984 would have some kind of presence at San Diego Comic-Con this year, but we're now hearing that we will likely get some footage - possibly even the first trailer - at the event.

Up until now, the only DC movie officially confirmed for SDCC was Aquaman, but it looks like we can now add Wonder Woman 1984 to the list.

Though Patty Jenkins' sequel was always going to have some kind of presence, it's now being reported that Warner Bros. is planning to make the Amazon Warrior's second solo adventure the "big surprise" of their Hall H panel, with star Gal Gadot expected to be on hand to debut some footage.

Whether it'll be a first teaser trailer or not remains to be seen, but considering the movie only began shooting last week, that seems unlikely.

Expect more updates as we get closer to the big event. San Diego Comic-Con runs from July 19-22.

Cool. I don't they have that much time shooting but I think the first Guardians movie showed some footage at Comic-Con as well after a few weeks of shooting I believe.

WB and Synder brought early JL Footage to SDCC 2016 and JL started shooting in March 2016. So this is a much greater squeeze. However, with Jenkins seemingly doing more practical settings and less CGI...you never know.

1 minute 20 second teaser.
- Establish the 80s era.
- Cool location shots
- Voice Over by someone
- Shot of Trevor. Shot of Diana.
- Action shot.
- Title Card: WW84
- Stinger of Cheetah ala Kristen Wiig in full makeup.

Audience goes nuts.

Then bring out a Shazam! 2 minute Teaser.

Wrap it up with a 3 minute Aquaman Trailer!

Audiences loose their minds!

It very obviously cannot be a "full trailer" lol .. seeing as they JUST started filming and are nowhere near done.

Very awesome they will bring some footage though. Maybe we'll get some official images of Cheetah and a teaser explanation of Steve Trevor being in the movie.

Either way, I'm pumped for this

@bigdannymac - There is some news on Steve Trevor, Grace R. posted what she heard....granted she said it was negative....but if it is true I am actually excited.

@JoeMomma29 -
Eh, Grace was overreacting to development ideas. The fact that she got to talk about it probably means they're not actual plot points.
She can be a little melodramatic at times.

@JoeMomma29 - I'm not sure what your referring to, I'm not sure who Grace is

But I saw one fan theory where they drew up what happened and it was the Green Lanterns that saved him and gave him a ring. I doubt that would actually happen but thought it was a neat concept.

@JoeMomma29 - I figured that would be the Trevor situation a long time ago so I’m unbothered. If anything I’d be a little disappointed it’s so easy to guess.

Hoping we get a good look at Cheetah somehow. I expect the footage to be brief

I just want to see some promo art of the established 80s time period.

And then maybe a Cheetah reveal.

I am actually super excited for this film. I am a sucker for 80's nostalgia and the filmmakers obviously sense there is this hunger for a period piece like this. But...not excited for 80's Steve.

I'm betting it will be a short clip of the action scene we saw being filmed in Washington DC. That did look pretty amazing. Would be great to see what it's going to look like in the movie.
