During an interview with The Guardian, James Cameron (Aliens, Titanic, Avatar) had a few controversial things to say about the Wonder Woman movie, and, more specifically, what he feels is the misguided "self-congratulatory back-patting" that's been going on since the film's release .

Cameron believes that the character of Diana is an "objectified icon", and that her current status as a symbol for strong, empowered women is actually a "step backwards".

Well, as you can imagine, the movie's direcor had a thing or two to say about that.

Though most of you guys tended to disagree with Cameron's comments, some could see where he was coming from. What's your take on Jenkins' response?
