"I know what you're thinkin', punk: "Question is, can I get Wolverine before he turns me into shishkabob with those claws?" Well, bub, seein' as how these claws are adamantium, the strongest metal known, and can slice through vanadium steel like a hot knife through butter, buddy, you gotta ask yourself: 'Do I feel lucky?'"

The band is officially getting back together, as voice actor Cal Dodd has confirmed that he's finally back in the booth, ready to reprise his iconic role as Wolverine for Marvel Studios' upcoming animated series X-Men '97.

With an expected 2023 premiere date, it'll probably be a while before we get a look at the new series, but we do know that the vast majority of the original cast will return for the revival. Production only just got underway early last month, with fellow original series cast member Lenore Zann (Rogue) also confirming that she had started working on the project.

In addition to Dodd and Zann, the show will feature George Buza (Beast), Catherine Disher (Jean Grey), Chris Potter (Gambit), Alison Sealy-Smith (Storm), Adrian Hough (Nightcrawler), and Christopher Britton (Mister Sinister); while Alyson Court will voice a new character. They'll all be joined by Jennifer Hale, Anniwaa Buachie, Ray Chase, Matthew Waterson, JP Karliak, Holly Chou, Jeff Bennett, and A.J. Locascio
