Bryan Singer Sex Assault Accuser Pleads Guilty To Fraud
It seems we may have reached the closing chapter in the Bryan Singer abuse accusations story, as his accuser, Michael Egan, has pleaded guilty to fraud in a North Carolina court. Hit the jump for further details.

Around the time of the release of X-Men: Days of Future Past, a scandal erupted after the film's director, Bryan Singer, was accused of sexual assault. His accuser was Michael Egan, who alleged that Singer, along with several other powerful gay Hollywod figures, had drugged him and forced him into sex at lavish Hollywood parties. Many noted that the timing of the allegations lined up with the release of the much-anticipated film. An LA court threw the case out, and Egan himself dropped the lawsuit in August of last year. Now, Egan has pleaded guilty to investment fraud in a North Carolina court. He admitted to doctoring account statements belonging to his former father-in-law to claim he had $7 million in assets, and used the document to solicit money from investors. He is currently awaiting sentence, and could face up to 5 years in jail.
I'd say this, along with the fact Egan withdrew the complaints himself, should wrap up this particular story, eh? Leave your thoughts below. Thanks for reading!
