While Bryan Singer's X-Men and X-2 quite rightly garnered a fair amount of critical acclaim, arguably the biggest pet peeve for comic book fans was the fact that the team of mutants donned generic black leather costumes rather than anything remotely resembling their colourful comic book counterparts. The director promised that they wouldn't be making a return and The Avengers proved that a team of costumes superheroes can work on the big screen, but it looks as if the X-Men of the future will be clad in more leather. However, this time it's brown. What do you guys think?

what's the thing on her arm, looks like she's an smputee but i guess it's just the jacket and her arms still in tact, cant make it out

I will probably sound like a moaner but....brown leather jackets (Wolverine & Kitty)....didn't Singer tweet "no more leather jackets" or was that "no more black leather jackets"?

Other than that, the costume is a small % of a movie anyway so no worries, and i don't think they had x-men costumes in the "futre part" of the story to begin with....feel free to correct me if i'm wrong.

Better then black leather suits, that's for sure. Even though the yellow suits in FC are a realistic version of the comics, they looked weird. They were teenagers, so adult X-Men wearing those would just be bad.
These are actually cool. I'd love to see Wolverine wear one of those.

Have you guys noticed how Iceman, Storm, and Professor X all have the same exact Black costumes on? I think it's safe to say that these are the official mutant camp uniforms. Can't wait for this film!

However the way she's looking at Bobby makes it seem as if she's still in love with him. While in the comics she was actually in love with Colossus. Perhaps there may be a "love triangle" to make circumstances a lot tougher for her character??

Wait till they show the 1973 uniforms before thinking Singer broke his promise for colorful uniforms. In the comics, the future characters had camp uniforms.

Lets see what the First Class 1973 uniforms look like. I wouldn't be disappointed if they are the same uniforms from First Class.
