ELgUaSoN- That was a freakin' awesome scene! And the Argentina bar scene. Those two scenes were more memorable than anything in Thor, IMO. ;D

X-MEN first class! I LIKED IT! BUT I DIDN'T LOVE IT! What continuity does it have with the other X-men movies? NONE!! FOX has no respect for the comic media other than the Dollar!! It was a good movie for someone who doesn't know comic or have ever read and X-men comic before. This movie was BRYAN SINGERS attempt to get back into the games after he STABBED a FRANCHISE MOVIE like X-MEN and X2 in the back, by doing the BULLSHIT SUPERMAN RETURNS! X-men and X2 were good for there time, because any comic fan loved the idea of their favorite comic being brought to life on the Silver Screen(even if they weren't really the X-MEN) But FOX needs to release them back to MARVEL Studios and let it be done with the respect that a true comic movie needs to be done. The effects in X-men 1st Class were second rate compared to THOR!
only an idiot could say that THOR was not a SOLID movie the was well made and directed and totally defied EVERYONE expectations. MARVEL STUDIOS and DISNEY know what there doing. Give MARVEL STUDIOS ALL IT CHARACTERS BACK!!!!!

I actually liked this a lot and yes i was worried from the start about continuity and faithfulness to the comics but i was wrong.

I have to say ... not that thor was bad ... I thought this was a better movie than thor.

The same 4 guys that just knew the film was going to suck a year ago are the same guys saying money shouldn't be spent on it and are actually endorsing piracy, go figure. 87% on rottentomatoes = a critically acclaimed film. You guys can deny it all you want.

And Thor was fine, but it wasn't any better than the by the numbers cbm the Incredible Hulk. Those are just some straight forward, no risk/little reward type movies that are meant to please movie goers and sell lunch boxes.

The upper class of CBMs are the The Dark Knight, Batman Begins, X2, Spiderman 1 and 2, Iron Man and yes X-Men: First Class......At least critically, but who pays attention to that??

First Class wasn't epic, but it was pretty darn good. But, why didn't anybody that was supposed to have regional or national dialect/accent have one? Banshee isn't American, he's Irish. Moira McTaggart ain't American, either. And, somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but, isn't Emma Frost supposed to be English? Or, am I just pullin' that one outta my a$$?
For that matter, why did they let stupid Halle Berry toss the accent after the first movie? I hate it when nobody pays attention to that stuff.
And, it bummed me out that beast was Cookie Monster blue.

I loved Thor but Xmen First Class was way better. The action was top notch and the story telling was pretty damn good. Yeah the continuty was [frick]ed up but the after watching the movie I could care less. Fassebender's Magneto was EPIC. The theater went ape shit when ever his theme song came on, and might I add was badass. I mean whoever did the soundtrack was on par with Hans Zimmer. Kevin Bacon potrayed one of the best comicbook villans roles ever. I would even go on to say that he is the second best compared to Heath Ledger. McAvoy was great in the movie as well. My only problem was that the rest of the team did not get too much attention, something I hope they explore in the next film. Especially when it came to Havok and Azazel. The people who are bad mouthing this are the same ones from a year ago who already said this movie sucked. But everyone is entitled to their own opinon. Xmen First Class gets a 9.5/10.

I wish people would stop making fools of themselves by talking about lack of continuity with the comics in x-men films. I hate to see you embarrass yourselves any further by displaying your lack of intelligence. How do you maintain strick adherence to any kind of continuity when you are dealing with characters who have been in there late to early 20's since the 60's? You don't. Sorry dude. We'd all love to see the original team in an awesome X-men movie, but something somewhere would have to give continuity wise even to make that happen, and I'm sure you would still be bitching about it. The film world will always differ from the comic world. You know how many villains Spiderman has fought since the 60's? How would you explain that realistically in a movie? He couldn't fit all the shit he's done into 10 lifetimes. That's just the way it is. Grow up and deal with it. I slammed this movie a year ago based on principal and swore I would never see it. I'm man enough to admit I was wrong, because if something is good I'm not to proud to say I made a rash judgment prior to investigation. That's just how I do it. You can do whatever floats your rickety old boat (with holes in it)
