Beast Actor Nicholas Hoult Is Pretty Sure He'll Be Part Of The X-MEN: SUPERNOVA Cast

The contracts of many actors expired after X-Men: Apocalypse, but it appears as if we can expect at least one "original" cast member from the prequels to return for the next film in the franchise!

Whether or not the likes of James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, and Jennifer Lawrence will return for X-Men: Supernova (that's the rumoured title, anyway) remains to be seen, but during a recent chat with HeyUGuys, Nicholas Hoult seemingly confirmed that Beast will be back. Given the role he's played in the prequels so far, that obviously makes a whole lot of sense.

"I think I’m involved," the British actor teased. "I’d be happy to go back – I love playing that character and I love everyone involved and I know there’s one in the works." That's rumoured to be directed by Simon Kinberg and the signs are pointing to production beginning this year for a 2018 release. With any luck, Beast will remain blue for most of the movie next time.

Be sure to give the video below a watch as Felicity Jones also reflects on Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and jokingly teases the possibility that
Jyn Erso could return somewhere down the line, joking: "[Who] knows, maybe Jyn could be reincarnated. You could do anything – maybe she could come back as a hologram!" Be sure to let us know your thoughts on this below.

@Doomsday8888 - I don't mind if she doesnt return (I enjoyed her performance).

But I hope Mystique returns (with a different actress). I loved what they have done with her character. While he was great as the silent assassin in earlier films. I loved the way she became a cobination of Xavier and Magnetos philosphies.

I dont understand why people assume she is "the Leader of the X-men". To me she was clearly teaching the team combat at the end of Apocalypse. Yes she took comand during the final fight but that is because in the context of the film, none of the younger mutants had any combat experiance. It wouldnt make sense that all of a sudden Scott is a trained taction.

@Doomsday8888 - She's NOT coming back. You should have seen her reaction when she and Chris Pratt were interviewed for Passengers. Chris joked about her wanting to come back as Mystique and she might as well have been on the rack, based on the expression on her face. She does not want to do it again.

@DVonShakari - hmmmm I have to pass on that. Imagine first movie....Xmen fight each other team up to fight Magneto, who they defeat when Cyclops challenges him to a dance off. Second movie, Beast builds a sentinel, Xmen fight each other then beat up Sentinel. Team breaks up at end. Third movie, a Mr. Sinister in name only, certainly not in appearance hatches a crazy plan to split up the Xmen. Plan starts when Jean has to choose between letting Nitro kill people in the street or in an office building. Team ends up fighting one another. It ends with them still quit as before but Wolverine leaves a note and cell phone and stating if Scott really needs them they will be there. Only Xmen in this movie injured with those epic proportions is Marrow, who no one cares about.
