An international version of last night's X-Men: Dark Phoenix trailer has been released (via Trailer Track), and there's so much previously unseen footage here that it may as well be as completely new teaser.

DARK PHOENIX: Let's Take A Closer Look At That SPOILER-Filled New Trailer

There's more of young Jean arriving to Xavier's School for the Gifted after her accident, as well as an extended look at the team's space-mission that leads to The Phoenix Force taking over her body. We also get a brief glimpse of Jessica Chastain's mysterious villain in action.

Plus, for the spoilerphobes out there, this trailer isn't quite so blatant about revealing which character is killed off... although it is still fairly obvious, to be honest!

What do you guys think? Is this a stronger trailer than the domestic one? Drop us a comment down below.

In DARK PHOENIX, the X-MEN face their most formidable and powerful foe: one of their own, Jean Grey. During a rescue mission in space, Jean is nearly killed when she is hit by a mysterious cosmic force. Once she returns home, this force not only makes her infinitely more powerful, but far more unstable. Wrestling with this entity inside her, Jean unleashes her powers in ways she can neither comprehend nor contain. With Jean spiraling out of control, and hurting the ones she loves most, she begins to unravel the very fabric that holds the X-Men together. Now, with this family falling apart, they must find a way to unite — not only to save Jean’s soul, but to save our very planet from aliens who wish to weaponize this force and rule the galaxy.

Starring James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Tye Sheridan, Sophie Turner, Alexandra Shipp, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Evan Peters and Jessica Chastain, the film is set to be released on June 7 in the UK (as X-Men: Dark Phoenix) and the U.S.

greatest things about this film be done is they're reusing phoenix and not Mr. Sinister. so Marvel will have a solid villain to start with if they don't want to start with origin stories and the setting can be savage land. For us to get a good representation of Ice-man my favorite X-man

A small scaled film and don't have to involve sentinels since the U already have AV running around.

endless potential when Marvel gets things going

@knocturnalzen10 - Mr. Sinister is the villain in Gambit, which I think starts filming next month.
