A couple of images from the Montreal set of X-Men: Dark Phoenix have found their way online, and they feature Tye Sheridan posing in-costume as Scott Summers.

Cyclops did sport a more comic-accurate outfit in the final scene of X-Men: Apocalypse, but this updated visor - along with the new hairstyle - definitely suggest Jim Lee's take on the character from Chris Claremont's '90s run might have been a strong influence.

Now that the floodgates have opened there's a good chance we'll be seeing pics of some of the other cast members very soon, so keep an eye on CBM for updates. In the meantime, let us know what you think of Cyclops' new look in the comments section below.

Doesn't look that bad. Let's hope the costumes will look higher budget this time.

@Moonmeister - Oh wow, he actually does look much older than he did in Apocalypse. That's a surprise.

@Moonmeister - More retro than Phoenix era, but the least of worries. I really wish they were concentrating on the preliminary stories around Phoenix and maybe her origin. Much too soon for dark Phoenix, that story is like fine wine it can't be rushed. T

Say yes to accurate costumes, and when it comes to black leather suits, just say no. A step in the right direction.

Different visor. I dig it.

@DashParr - This seems like his "causal" visor. Something he would wear during the day.

I hope he wears the one he wore at the end of Apcalypse when he is wearing his costume; I thought it looked great.

@DashParr - Looks a lot like the one he had in X1, and X2.
