I'm thinking she acts as some sort of electrical conduit for Storm's lightning. But if it's your mind going back to an earlier body, why Bishop? We know Singer was a big fan of the animated series, and Bishop is the one sent back there. hmm...

You know, I'm hoping the new trailer will feel a bit smoother.
This one comes across pretty rough, and the editing is a bit choppy.
Especially when Wolverine suddenly screams out of no where.

I'm betting Bishop dies after being sent back in time and that's why Wolverine gets sent back.

Hnggh. So excited for this. Just watched Superman Returns yesterday, and even though that's a tonally schizophrenic, dreary mess, it's directed beautifully. I can't wait for that panache to return to ensemble X-Men after the surprisingly flat direction in First Class. Surprising because Kick-Ass is a really snappy and slick film.

Matthew Vaughn isn't quite as kinetic about his direction as Singer, though. I remember watching scene where Magneto turns the big satellite dish in First Class, thinking that Singer would have the dish and hand turn in sync. It's just a different way to think about the relationship between elements in an action scene, and I think generally, Singer is better suited to portraying what could otherwise be pretty abstract powers on screen.

Bishop tries to go back first or he tries to travel to help Logan (later in the movie).

Bishop is from a further future, this is confirmed. I'm guessing he arrives in 2023, but can't go back to the 70's as he's not born yet, so Wolverine is sent instead.

The Wolverine was actually pretty [frick]ing amazing. Had real substance along with First Class

The Wolverine although not the best of them is my favorite X-Men film. God dammit it's damn near perfect.

So what happens in the past that forces them to send Old Man Logan to the '70s? I mean if it's an event in the '70s that started the downward spiral why didn't they send him back in time in 2002?

Does Bishop go back to kill someone and Wolverine has to stop him? Or is it a case of some undisclosed villain like Fitzroy or David Haller (I'm not saying either of these two are in the movie!!!) going back and killing someone and they send Logan afterwards to stop them.

OR does Mystique kill the President which leads to Xavier mind-wiping her creating the cold-emotional monster she was in the fist X-Men movie? I wonder. ;)

Kitty sends Bishop back in time too? I'm interested to see how this movie will turn out? Hopefully, the film will be good.
