It's a flashback to World War 2 times, remember that photo of production art released with that deep well? Another set-pic showed them constructing it too...so yeah, WWII flashback scene innit.

Yesssss! Hopefully they may touch ever so slightly on a more comicbook authentic origins/weaponx aspect to the story. Not to make an origins flick, cause it won't be, but if they manage to undo some of the XMEN origins mess it'll b awesome

I get the feeling this film will lead on to DOFP, it might end with Wolverine being sent back in time to the First Class timeline, and then he'll end up joining that version of the team.

Actually this scene does look familiar, but I don't remember Logan being locked in Bane's prison in TDKR... maybe he's the one who [frick]ed Bane's face up so bad that he had to wear that mask? I wonder how he managed to get out and meet the X-Men without anyone noticing? Maybe Alfred stole The Bat and flew him out of there, but left Bruce because Bruce was a dick to him about the letter at the beginning of the movie. Yeah... that's what happened...
