Sounds Like Rogue Knows Whats Up

Anna Paquin tells us if she is interested in doing any more X movies and what needs to change.

When asked if Anna would return and do another X movie Anna had this to say:

"Absolutely. Yeah,". "I would hope I could do a little bit more action next time, though. I kind of find it ironic that I did three big action films and did, actually, no action whatsoever. I mean I got some really amazing emotional story moments, but I didn't really get to do the physical stuff."

Anna goes on to say, "You know, as much as I loved doing those films I was kind of like, 'OK, so when do I get to beat someone up? When do I get to steal some powers?' You know Sookie [Paquin's True Blood character] gets to do more action than Rogue ever did. So I'm just putting that out there. More action please, for next time."

Sounds like she knows what shes talking about. I would like to see Rogue fly and get a little more involved with that sassy southern voice. Maybe even throw Gambit in there with her, ya know like the comics.

It must be a cold day for Rogue. They pretty much cemented Rogue as this fragile, insecure teen. An almost complete throw away from the comic character. I can't really blame all of that on Singer or FOX and co. After all they weren't allowed to read any of the comics (although Hugh cheated, good on him) and had to devise their own way to play the character based on general information. That's how she chose it.

A screaming, overtly insecure teen. I'd like to see Rogue throw down and get back to what she is suppose to be like but at the same time I disliked Anna Paquin's take on the character as well as her look. Nothing about her "fit". So I'd agree with half of what she said. Yes to more action, just no to her reprising the role.

Am I the only one that thinks that Anna isn't pretty at all? Even in TrueBlood she is..........ok. I mean isn't Rogue suppose to be this southern beauty and that is part of her "curse". I am not saying she is ugly just not pretty enough for Rogue. Am I wrong???

Kev- Yeah that rogue guy is way over rated. But you all know damn well that "cure" will wear off of every mutant that took it.

DeathWalker- You're not wrong, when i said that X-rated films would be more suited for her, well... x-rated films need guys too you know.

I like me some Paquin. She didnt suit the part of Rogue but did the best she could at the same time. And shes great in True Blood..and damn sexy, imperfect teeth or not!

Doesn't she realize this is the movies and we all know the hollywood people can't do a flick right. I notice how wolverine always has a young girl sidekick... Comics it was sort of kitty. The 90's cartoon was jubilee and the movie was rogue. She has to deal with the emotion and not the real kick butt character.

She is doing an amazing job on True Blood I have read the Sookie Stackhouse books and I feel she is portraying Sookie perfectly. Also I think she is very pretty. Even if her front teeth are bad I think that makes her even more pretty to me because she not perfect, I'm sick of people finding one flaw about some actress and then they think oh she's not that pretty. Also I liked her as Rogue, and I agree with her she would need to do more action. Rogue was always kicking ass and stealing powers. Glad Paquin spoke up about it.

Shaman go pick it up. Great series. Now don't get me wrong I wouldn't throw her out of my bed. Not saying she would want to be in my bed. But in True Blood she is a little bit hotter. Maybe its the short shorts that does it.

True Blood is basically Twilight with balls...and a cast that can act..and an actual story..and decent effects..and..OH GOD I [frick]ING HATE TWILIGHT!

@Rorschach No Eric is is the blond Vampire who is the Sheriff of Area 5. He owns Fangtasia. Sam Merlotte is the owner of the bar that Sookie works at. and yeah Sam is hot too. But Eric oh...man... =P~~~~~~ Everytime he comes on the show I get excited (in my pants...) lol.

True Blood has a lot of Hotties, but all the ones I liked were getting killed off, but still is great. Like ROR said its Twilight but a hell of a lot better. I HATED TWINKLIGHT!!!!!!

There are hotties galore Deathwalker, my fave was Sookies silly brothers girl before she was murderlized(im taking that Shibazz!), it was Silver Fox from Wolverine, Lynne Collins! haha , got that one, not completely brain dead yet

I agree, 'True Blood' is the @#$! SirPrize, 'Forever Knight' was also pretty good (for what and when it was). What was that other vampire series that Aaron Spelling put out based on the RPG? Oh yeah, anyone ever seen 'Vampire: The Masquerade'? Can you say 'Twilight' meets 'Charmed'?
