"Wolverine is immortal...
And everyone else sucks!"

"The Wolverine Show Co-Starring the X-Men"

"Wolverine is immortal...
And everyone else sucks!"

Fox's mentality of the "X-Men".

Wolverine is one of the worst mutants/characters to ever grace the pages of a comic book. I seriously wish he never existed.

I'd say the X-Men's lasting popularity would be nothing without Wolverine. Yeah, they existed without him, but the title didn't sell until Claremont came and relaunched it.
