To me, Logan blended the best aspects of these storylines:

-Old Man Logan
-The death of wolverine
-The Dark Knight Returns

Yes, I know TDKR is a Batman/DC storyline, but think about it, it was written by Frank Miller who wrote the mini series of Wolverine where most of the traits we know and love of Wolverine were written by Miller and thus adopted in Logan and let that sink in...

Tied for me as the best Fox- Marvel movie along with Deadpool

@KikinGonzalez - Frank Miller didn't write that miniseries. Chris Claremont did, with Miller on art.

@RorMachine - how would you rate it in your top 10 of best CBM's?

@KikinGonzalez - It might be my favorite. The likes of The dark Knight and Watchmen are up there too, but Logan hit me in the feels the way no other comic book movie has before.

@RorMachine - I agree with you on the feels thing.

The relationship between Logan and Xavier reminded me of me and my dad, we had that kind of harsh but loving relationship.

And the part of "Daddy"... "So that is how it feels" man, that almost made my cry.

Manly tears of course but... man!

I loved the movie so much

@RorMachine - I agree. there was a special chemistry i can't explain between Jackman, Stewart, Keen.

The voice of dissent is the most important voice in the group. Anywhere that genuine criticism is frowned upon is no place for me. Peace out CBM! No more views from me.

@crawley - "Genuine criticism" ISN'T frowned upon, it's encouraged. There must be some confusion somewhere, but I'm not sure where. The rules are pretty straight forward and haven't changed in years.

Trolling and attacking users IS frowned upon. Maybe people are confused and don't realize there's a difference between the two?

@NateBest - My genuine criticism is that @MrSundayMovies should have the monopoly on Easter Egg articles the Monday after a CBM drops. Wilding purposely robs him of clicks with awful clickbait. That's petty and super grimy.

I'm done here and I've been giving you 50 clicks a day minimum since at least 2009. Best of luck.

@crawley - Lol. We show the author headlines so that users can skip them if they want because of feedback such as this. The funny thing is that people STILL click on them, regardleaa of who wrote it, and complain. You know you DON'T have to click on everything, rright?

Logan was really good and that's why it's frustrating. This film should have belonged to a more connected set of previous films... Instead, it's like they're all mostly disconnected from each other.

Logan for all intents purposes is a "One Shot". It does give homage to the other films....Just like One shot comics, but the "Comics" made for the film, and Logan saying, hey it didn't all happen like they say it did, is key. Not to metents this is 5 years after he awoke in school with the rest of the X-Men alive in 2024. The time line will change again with DP2 and the X-Force. I've also seen a few Albert panels up on sites too. Anyone remember Albert AKA X-24. Elise-Dee's Reaver Wolverine Doppleganger droid?

What I loved about Logan's last words are how they have two separate meanings: That's how it feels to die, and that's how it feels to have a family. Both are equally sad.

Thank you for noting that this can't possibly be in the same timeline as dofp, I've been saying the same thing. I know Fox has a whole boatload of continuity errors, but even by their standards, the fact that they said no new mutants were born in the last 25 years clearly puts it separate from dofp, where young mutants are clearly seen in 2023. This film should be considered its own timeline, similar to old man Logan or the dark knight returns
