If this is good enough, I'll be able to put the memory of X-Men Origins: Wolverine in that little part of the brain where I put all the things I'd rather not think about, like calculus, Kirstie Alley's feet and fat-camp of 1996.

Please tell me they're going to adjust his claw position in post.

THE CLAWS WILL NOT BE FIXED. They will remain in that position for this movie unfortunately. But expect to be back to basics with singer in DOFP.

It's not so bad if the movie is great enough, it will be great having the biggest problem be the claw positioning haha...

In origins it was all over the freakin place, so I'm happy they decided on something they could be more consistent with.

Probably one of the reasons why they won't put Jackman in the suit is because he has chicken legs. And his claws look ridiculous coming out from in between his knuckles when it should be protruding out of his backhand just above his knuckles.

The claws are not crooked or misplaced, they just don't have the bar that extends over the knuckle. Honestly, I'm cool with it. Kinda makes more sense this way since they are supposed to be coming out of his hand. Plus, anything is better than the godawful claws they used in Origins...can't believe they thought it necessary to CGI throughout the whole movie.

Since X-Men 1, his hands are straight when he pops out the claws. Thats why they don't come out the back of the hands like they used to in the comics.

Even Kelly Hu (Lady Deathstrike) made mention of this fact when she stated Deathstrike was better in a behind the scenes interview. Because unless Wolverine, her hands didn't need to be positioned straight for her claws to come out.

I guess no one at FOX realized that Wolverine hands/wrists would always bend first b4 he popped the claws. Thats why they used to come out the back of the hand. After X1, they changed him in the comics to follow the movie way.

@Chris5421

It's not what you're thinking. The trailer clearly shows Sanada's Singen before the older Yashida has died, and we also see him at his funeral.

It look like Sanada still has his kote on his left arm and not on his right, guess Wolverine cuts/rips that off at some point in the movie...kind of symbolic of him cutting SS's hand off in the comics.
