Bryan Singer Announces Josh Helman's Return As 'Stryker' In X-MEN: APOCALYPSE
The director has officially announced Josh Helman's return as William Stryker with a new a BTS image from the set of his latest X-flick, which has resumed production in Montreal. Click on to check out the pic, which also features Rose Byrne as Moira MacTaggert..
When last we saw William Stryker he was giving Wolverine some very nasty flashbacks (or flashforwards... depending on your perspective!) in Days Of Future Past, and it seems he'll be returning to cause more trouble for the mutants in X-Men: Apocalypse. Though Hugh Jackman will apparently show up as Logan in some capacity, the role is not expected to be much more than a cameo so it's unclear as to how Stryker will factor back into the story - after all, that was not him but Mystique fishing Wolverine out of the water at the end of DOFP.
Whatever the reason for the mutant-hating military man's return, he'll have at least one scene with Rose Byrne's Moira Mactaggert as evidenced by this behind-the-scenes snap Bryan Singer posted to Instagram.
Directed by Bryan Singer, X-Men: Apocalypse also stars Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique), James McAvoy (Professor X), Michael Fassbender (Magneto), Nicholas Hoult (Beast), Alexandra Shipp (Storm), Sophie Turner (Jean Grey), with Tye Sheridan (Cyclops), with Kodi Smit-McPhee (Nightcrawler), Rose Byrne (Moira MacTaggert), Oscar Isaac (Apocalypse) and many others. The movie opens on May 27, 2016.
