It doesn't sound like the X-Men: Apocalypse trailer shown at Comic-Con (which was put together from footage shot during the first five weeks of production) will be released any time soon, but we do have a leaked video which offers up a first look at Oscar Isaac as Apocalypse...

Well, that promo art didn't really do Apocalypse justice, did it? As you can see from the video below (which contains only a very brief snippet of the X-Men: Apocalypse trailer show at Comic-Con today), Oscar Isaac is looking very blue, but a fair bit smaller than his comic book counterpart. Interestingly, this footage confirms that Storm - mohawk and all - will be alinged with the villain for some of the film! Unfortunately, the leaked clip does appear to spoil the movie's one F-Bomb (which has become something of a tradition since X-Men: First Class). Watch while you can!

As well as returning cast members Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, and Ian McKellen, X-Men: Apocalypse will also introduce Alexandra Shipp, Sophie Turner, Tye Sheridan, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Lana Condor, Oscar Isaac, Ben Hardy, Olivia Munn, and a number of others. The movie is set to be released on May 27th, 2016. What do you think about this take on the villain?

XM Apocalypse sounds like it's going to be awesome. Never been much of a DP fan because I find his incessant banter annoying. I doubt I can take 2 straight hours of it without being shitfaced.

Moira MacTaggert introduces him as perhaps “the world’s first mutant.”
