SPOILERS: The X-MEN: APOCALYPSE After-Credits Scene Has Been Revealed

Despite reportedly not being shown to critics a couple of weeks back, a description of the X-Men: Apocalypse after-credits scene has been revealed, and it sets up a sinister new threat to the heroes...

Last week, Bryan Singer dropped some very interesting hints about what we should expect from X-Men: Apocalypse's after-credits scene, teasing the fact that it may set up everything from Gambit to The Wolverine 3 and the next X-Men movie. Thanks to Bleeding Cool, we now know what exactly it features, and as many of you guessed, it does indeed seem to set up the appearance of Mr. Sinister.

"We see a besuited man walking through the remains of the Weapon X clean-up programme, removing the blood, bodies and bullets. And a suited man retrieving vials of Wolverine’s blood labelled Weapon X. And placing them into his briefcase which contains other vials of differing colours. Slamming shut, it is labelled ESSEX CORP." Now, the big question is when will we see him?

Considering the fact that The Wolverine 3 has been casting a lot of scientist types, Essex Corp being the big bad of that movie could work, especially if they use that blood to create Wolverine clone, X-23. Had Gambit been released this October as planned, we may very well have met Sinister there given his history with the Cajun, and the villain being a bad guy in the next X-Men movie seems plausible.

We'll have to wait and see, but for now, be sure to let us know your thoughts in the usual place.

wait wait! I got it! Since we all hate Jennifer Lawrence and given the fact that the next movie will be set in the 90s with Mr. Sinister, how's about we finally get MORPH?!?!?!

@Giznad - Morph was never in the comics, he was just created in the 90's cartoon just to be killed off originally.

@KingKazma - Wrong. Morph exists on different earths. He was an x-men in the age of apocalypse story.

@realOdinson - https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kevin_Sydney. Let's be honest, the Morph everyone keeps thinking of is dark haired skinnyish guy that was killed off in the first episode and then brought back a couple times. Changeling was merely changed to match this character a bit more but still looks like a Chameleon knockoff.
