Here's the thing, movie making is a very fickle thing. I'm sure the future cast had a lot more scenes shot. They just didn't mesh with the rest of the film. Hope there are deleted scenes.

As for the movie, it is downright phenomenal and puts anything MCU made to shame. It has heart, character, and relatable stakes. These are qualities the MCU could use.

McAvoy doesn't get enough credit, seriously. That plane scene alone proves it.

I didn't think this would be as good as it was. Then I saw the trailer. They have successfully hit the reset button. Great casting and a great script makes for a great movie. Who new? Great performances all around kept this movie anchored as well as great action scenes. Loved the simultaneous Sentinel battles shifting back and forth from past to future.

What can I say about Quicksilver? He worked well the way they used him here. Yeah I'm surprised. Hopefully his look will evolve. Can't wait to see how he's handle in the AOU. I have no doubt that Age of Apocalypse will be equal to if not greater than DOFP.

He was great in First Class, but he was so much better in this that it's insane. Every scene that didn't have Quicksilver in it were stolen by this man right here. Fantastic film.

Yea James Mcavoy stole the film. But quicksilver stole the film in the parts he was in. But I think James Mcavoy really did a good job he did an EXCELLENT job with this. He was the focus of the movie though. I wanted to see more of quicksilver but I feel like we got enough to make us want more which we'll get in Apocalypse

I've just seen the movie - it is indeed awesome, except for one thing I had a pet hate for, the audio in general. The sound design was anaemic (the advertising was louder), and the music consisted of some kind of orchestral paste rumbling away in the background, too quiet to identify, too loud to ignore, which sort of cheapened the feel of the movie at many points.

But story, visuals, acting, etc., all pretty good, with some enthralling moments.

And it ties the two previous versions of the X-Men together nicely, while leaving room for more development.

He was my favorite character in the film. That scene with him and Professor X talking was indeed very tense. If you listen closely to what they were saying that's advice we all could take away you know? :) It was just beautiful. Damn, I wish I could go back and tell myself stuff like that. lol

I would HATE IT if McAvoy shaved his head. Make the head shaving a big moment. The moment when McAvoy and Patrick Stewart mesh into the same character.
