Lots Of Great New X-MEN: DOFP Footage In 'Quicksilver' Promo

One of the most talked about set pieces from the X-Men: Days Of Future Past screening the other night was the scene in which Quicksilver breaks Magneto out of prison. After the jump you can see plenty (maybe too much!) of that footage, along with a character bio for the "pain in the arse".

Even though he still looks bad but now I'm really looking froward to see his scenes in this movie. Especially reading those first reactions and from seeing this clip.

This guy is not even Magneto's son in a cinematic universe where he could be - not that I care, but other than the power and silver hair (not the style of it, mind you), there is almost nothing here that make's Quicksilver who he is. I mean...he doesn't even have his relationship to Wanda.

Again, I don't care necessarily. I'm going to watch the movie anyway. But I just think Whedon will give us a more realized version of the character (minus the knowledge of his origin, which we don't really need).

- probably not related to Magneto even though possible
- still doesn't look great

- use of his speed looks great, could be a new Nightcrawler/White House sequence

Not sure how you can be sure that QS is not Magneto's son in this universe with what we have seen, as long as nothing outright makes it impossible, even if it is not mentioned in DOFP, it could be mentioned in a future movie.
