'Magneto' Powers Up In Epic New Clip From X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST

In yet another clip from Bryan Singer's X-Men: Days of Future Past, we see Magneto (Michael Fassbender) head into action as he uses his powers of magnetism to levitate an entire football stadium! It's a really col preview, and you can check it out after the jump.

The ultimate X-Men ensemble fights a war for the survival of the species across two time periods in X-Men: Days of Future Past. The beloved characters from the original X-Men film trilogy join forces with their younger selves from X-Men: First Class, in an epic battle that must change the past to save our future.



X-Men: Days of Future Past's huge all-star cast includes Hugh Jackman, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Jennifer Lawrence, Daniel Cudmore, Nicholas Hoult, Peter Dinklage, Halle Berry, Adan Canto, Anna Paquin, Evan Peters and Ellen Page, and is set to be released on May 23rd, 2014.

Just looking at that thumbnail from the vid made me chuckle. I won't be watching but man Fassbender has really done the role Justice. And just think about it he'll be in 3 highlighted Fox films in these upcoming years...

I watched it last night. What you've heard is true, this is not only the best X-Men film but it's THE X-Men film. One of the best CBMs.

I think it's safe to leave the X-Men franchise in the hands of McAvoy & Fassbender. Now they finally don't have to rely on Jackman.

I live near a military base in Lemoore, California. We always get 2 action movies a year that have to do with the military or the US in some way (i forgot how it works) but yeah there was a sneak premiere last night for us and they showed Godzilla on Friday as well. I couldn't make it to that one :/

I'm gonna have to rewatch both of them, but they're both neck and neck for me. X2 is one of my favorite movies ever, so I'm going to have to really look at both of them and see. But this is forsure a great CBM

I'm going to watch all of the X-Men movies next week before I see DOFP....that includes Last Stand(not X-Men Origins: Wolverine....I REFUSE.lol)

SN: @McNy did you see Godzilla in 3D? How was the 3D in that movie?

I'll have to re-watch DOFP too. Even though the movie is great, I still feel like Singer hasn't really grasped the concept of what really makes the X-Men who they are. At times I felt like he was ticking boxes, more like oh fans complained about this, let me fix that. Ice-Man never did ice slides and fans are not happy, let's give him ice slides. To me it seemed like at times he was trying soo hard to appease the hardcore fanboys. Some other X-Men characters were totally wasted. WTF was the point of having Toad, Havoc and those other mutants in that military camp just for one scene? Don't even get me started on the likes of Warpath, Storm, Bishop etc. *sigh*

Meh, I'm not a fan of 3D. Looked cool though at some parts especially in IMAX. But I'd rather watch it in 2D to be honest. Same goes for DOFP.
