The ultimate X-Men ensemble fights a war for the survival of the species across two time periods in X-Men: Days of Future Past. The beloved characters from the original X-Men film trilogy join forces with their younger selves from X-Men: First Class, in an epic battle that must change the past to save our future.
 


X-Men: Days of Future Past's huge all-star cast includes Hugh Jackman, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Jennifer Lawrence, Daniel Cudmore, Nicholas Hoult, Peter Dinklage, Halle Berry, Adan Canto, Anna Paquin, Evan Peters and Ellen Page, and it went on sale digitally today with a DVD and Blu-ray release set for October 14th.

VERY overhyped scene. It was cool, but what, 30 seconds? And other than that one scene, as an adaptation of Quicksilver, it sucked.

I have a feeling that even if Whedon's version sucks (which i don't think it will) some people will still find a way to make it sound like it was awesome.

Really the only scene that redeemed this movie for me If this character didn't exist in DOFP -I don't know how I would had felt about it. It just wasn't that much fun to watch as a whole. At least this ONE scene made me think this was worth paying to see. I hope Bryan is able to give us more of a "team" movie with Apocalypse than the usual featured one-on-one that most of the X-Men movies end up becoming. And for once give us more than Wolvervine and his friends. We've been going that route for 15 years and it is tiresome.

I agree with the screen time issue to an extent. However, it isn't like the movie fell flat when he left.

Because the fact it wasn't filmed with commonly used methods or technology has nothing to do with that.

@Jollem, well they were fighting about the two before DOFP came out they are still debating before AOU comes out. One can only imagine how they'll let lose when AOU comes out. :p

Again a bad ass scene . . .but hey lets forget some of the elements that helped it to be bad ass scene. Once we do that people ok once we do that we shall know why . ..WHY it is "VERY overhyped scene"
