Over 25 minutes of questions and answers for X-Men: First Class:

X-MEN FIRST CLASS charts the epic beginning of the X-Men saga, and reveals a secret history of famous global events. Before mutants had revealed themselves to the world, and before Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Not archenemies, they were instead at first the closest of friends, working together with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to prevent nuclear Armageddon. In the process, a grave rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto's Brotherhood and Professor X's X-Men.

Many thanks to Comics Continuum.

Starring: James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Lucas Till, Caleb Landry Jones, and Kevin Bacon.

LEEE777 - Out tomorrow in the UK/Ireland, the 3rd for the States.

For someone who hates the film more than anything, you sure do post a lot of news for it.

As for the costumes, they look good. Yellow/dark blue.

1 day left!

"I don't hate, I just see what could have been..."

Seriously?! Don't hate?! Every comment you've ever posted on the topic of this movie has been completely hate filled. Talk about revisionist history. As someone who has constantly been offended by your elitist attitude towards this movie, and the condescending attitude you've had toward all X-Men fans who are looking forward to it (we're not TRUE fans remember?), I must say that you, sir, are full of it.

People complain it's not in continuity .. but how can you have a story set in the 60's AND have Jean and Cyclops? - they'd be far too old for the X-Trilogy to happen. They've done very well considering the circumstances.

People complain about the costumes ... they used the yellow and blue and people still complain? Yes, lets have them run around in a leotard with an X on their navel, because that looks better doesn't it?

People complain about Mystique .. she belongs here more than any other character, she is just as old as Magneto and Prof X so it makes sense that they'd all know each other, Mystique was one of the highlights of the X-Trilogy.

@Cherry Bomb
First of all, I think people complain about Mystique because she appears to be quite young in the first X-films, and is now where as old as Magneto and Prof X in the trilogy. And not to mention that she was never an X-men.

Furthermore, I think what people are still pissed about is that it’s a prequel and not a reboot. A reboot would’ve made more sense and people wouldn’t be talking about continuity. A prequel to the first X-films is kind of dumb. I mean, don’t get me wrong I think it’s a fresh take on their own X-universe but there’s so many continuity problems within their own films.

Lastly, the title First Class was a wrong way to go. It’s false advertisement. It claims it’s the beginning but they lack the original team. Like I said it’s their take on their own universe but still it’s a bad choice for a title. On the other hand, I know some are still asking why people are okay w/ the lineup that they chose for The Avengers, well at some point all those characters were part of the group. Unlike FC, there’s only one first class, one original team.

You make some good points and it seems you made up your mind that you are going to see this movie despite what anybody says. All I have to say to that is, good for you. Like I said before, if you don’t dig it don’t go see it. If you like it, go and enjoy it.

Ghostfire @ Cool! ; D

WOLVIE @ It ain't because of the reviews its just the way FOX don't give a sh1t about the actual First Class comic books, thats all bro!
