Beast definitely looks better, looks good. I still think just a Magneto movie with Fassbender would have been great but so far this looks good. Obviously its a really really bad adaption, but looks like it might be a good movie though.

Someone want to explain Beast - how is he blue here in the 60s, yet in the first movie he's a perfectly normal human being - way to go Fox - so on the ball.

I just can't get into this movie. I've watched the trailers a few times and I can't seem to build any interest in it.

Strange that Magneto uses a gun in this movie, I remember the scene in X-Men where he and the Brotherhood stood in front of the group of Policemen aiming their guns at them outside of the train station.

Magneto- "You Homo Sapiens and your guns.."

It'll be interesting to see how he goes from using guns in First Class to strictly thinking of them as a barbaric Homo Sapien instrument like he does in the events of the first X-Men film.

Wrong class of students, but potential for a good summer flick. Beast still looks like some bizarre were-cat!

Ok, the Beast thing is ridiculous.

1) Jesus Christ, that tiny clip of Dr Hank Mcoy on the tv screen was just a little nod to the fans. Holy shit, get over it.

2)Even if you can't, how many times in the comics has McCoy altered between blue/feline/human appearance? Answer= lots. Is it too much to take in a movie?

I THINK WHAT FOX WANTS IS"GET THE COOLEST STUFF AND CRAM THE MUTHA UP WITH THE "COOL" STUFF", ..I MEAN IT LOOKS BETTER, THEY GOT BANSHEE'S BLACK AND YELLOW STRIPPY DEALS AND THEY GOT BEAST'S LION FACE LOOK, MAGNETOS HELMET IS A HUGE IMPROVEMENT. ALL IN ALL, I'LL STILL SEE THE MOVIE..IT MAY SURPRISE

"URRRRHHHHH...!!!! I NEED MY LITTER BOX!"

@hoodjester beast wasn't in the first movie, he was in the 2nd movie. And well beast has used a holo watch in the past, wait was that nightcrawler but that could easily be explanation but the fact is beast cameo was just a nod to the comic book fans, a easter egg. But people seem to have taken it seriously. Hope that explains.

MAGNETO'S HAIR IS WHITE!!! And no his hair isnt white because he's old! Its because its the color he has in his head! Just look at his son Pietro/Quicksilver! The crappy movie wouldn't bother me so much if they could take the time and look up what the character is supposed to look like!!!!!

We're now at a point where I don't know who's statements are serious and who is being sarcastic. Obviously Godzilla is poking a little fun, but is Peteyparker? Or is he really that mad about the hair and will refuse to watch a movie based on that? I hope it's a joke.

@Darkanalmatter, you forgot the part where this is a movie not a comic

I'm just curious, if this movie had been titled "Charles & Erik's Excellent Adventure" or "When Charles Met Erik," would that alone make so many more of you accepting of it? Darkmatter?

I have offered this Beast explanation before and they may not have even given it a thought for the films, but it works for continuity's sake.

For quite a few years after The Beast transformed into his furry blue form he would wear a mask of his human face in public because he was ashamed and embarrassed about his appearance. It would not be a far stretch at all to assume he was doing so in his first X-Men film appearance.

@Darkmatter "The 1960s setting of X-Men: First Class will be technologically inspired by the James Bond films of that era" I think this is what you mean, doesn't really say anything about magneto. and Vaughn compared it to the Star Trek Reboot and batman begins, so I don't think you should take Vaughn comments seriously dude.
Luther
Luther - 3/15/2011, 10:29 AM
@Darkmatter...dude, you're so ignorant it's ridiculous.

-Banshee may not be Irish..yes, that does suck.
-This is a prequel, how do you "KNOW" that she isn't Scottish? CIA..fine..stepping stone to just become a scientist later down the line.
-Again..prequel. Xavier when HE WAS YOUNG. Idiot
-Magneto a spy...fine, whatever. Again, before the brotherhood...PREQUEL! He could've been anything before being magneto. You think he DIRECTLY became magneto after the nazis? no..I think he had some free time on his hands somewhere in between.
-Angel Salvadore is just another random picked character, for side purposes, as is Darwin. No biggie.
-Shaw isn't a pimp. He's the leader of The HellFire Club. Which is also doubling up as a nightclub. It fits with the time era. What's the big deal? You act like they're losing their integrity or something.
-Emma Frost here has nothing to do with Origins. If you completely read statements on this film, other than picking out the negatives to boast about on here, you'd already know that damn near every X-Men film from now on will pretty much act as if Wolverine Origins NEVER happened. That's what happens when something sucks that much.
-Azazel impregnates Mystique in the comic. haha..they actually follow source material there, and you still [female dog] about it.
-Beast is not the same..as in..looks better? Jesus, stop freaking complaining!

Oh..and wow. I didn't know you seen the film already. Shoot, homie..post a link then!
