Action icon Arnold Schwarzenegger makes his much-anticipated return to the big screen in Korean director Kim Jee-woon’s hard-hitting US directorial debut, THE LAST STAND. After leaving his LAPD narcotics post following a bungled operation that left him wracked with remorse and regret, Sheriff Ray Owens (Schwarzenegger) moved out of Los Angeles and settled into a life fighting what little crime takes place in sleepy border town Sommerton Junction. But that peaceful existence is shattered when Gabriel Cortez (Eduardo Noriega), the most notorious, wanted drug kingpin in the western hemisphere, makes a deadly yet spectacular escape from an FBI prisoner convoy. With the help of a fierce band of lawless mercenaries led by the icy Burrell (Peter Stormare), Cortez begins racing towards the US-Mexico border at 250 mph in a specially-outfitted Corvette ZR1 with a hostage in tow.

STARRING:

Arnold Schwarzenegger as Sheriff Ray Owens
Rodrigo Santoro as Deputy Frank Martinez
Zach Gilford as Deputy Jerry Bailey
Forest Whitaker as Agent John Bannister
Genesis Rodriguez as Agent Ellen Richards
Johnny Knoxville as Lewis Dinkum
Jaimie Alexander as Sarah Torrance
Luis Guzmán as Mike Figuerola
Peter Stormare as Burrell
Eduardo Noriega as Gabriel Cortez

RELEASE DATE: January 18th, 2013.

My god its like a joke trailer from Family Guy or the Simpsons, what a cheesy looking flick. All these years and he still can't shake his ridiculous accent. Just how many stunt men are gonna have his face digitized over their body for every action scene! Fanboys only flick, wont make shit at the box office like most of his films.
blackscienceman
blackscienceman - 8/16/2012, 1:45 PM
So Arnie is the new Clint Eastwood?
sameoldthing
sameoldthing - 8/16/2012, 1:58 PM
@Ceejay
Your an idiot. Your just now realizing Arnold has a thick accent & always wll,it's like his signature, makes his one-liners great.
Him saying: "I'll Be Back!" for example is cool with the accent, better than a regular voice.

Also, all action stars use stunt men.Why not,it's the way things get done in movies.
You don't like Arnold,so what? Go watch Justin Timberlake or some other candy ass.

Since some dumbasses judge movies before release & value them based on box office numbers your opinion is garbage.
Arnold movies like Terminator films & Predator just to name a few did really well..piss off haters.
