The Wrap report that Patrick Hughes will direct the remake of The Raid for Screen Gems, with production set to kick off this Fall. Brad Inglesby (Out of the Furnace) wrote the flick, which has XYZ Films and original director Gareth Huw Evans on board as producers. Although casting hasn't officially begun, word is "the Hemsworth brothers have been mentioned as possible targets for the hard-hitting action movie." As fans of the excellent original will know, the story focuses on a pair of very skilled brothers who find themselves on opposite sides of the law, so it would certainly be a couple of juicy roles for the Hemsworth boys. That aside, what do you guys think of the fact that we're getting this remake at all? Sound off below.
