Oscar-winner Brie Larson hasn't shied away from taking on blockbuster roles, and many of you might know her best for starring in the likes of Kong: Skull Island and Captain Marvel. Now, the actress has revealed her hopes to one day join the Fast & Furious franchise in an interview with Uproxx.

Asked if it's a "dream" of hers to take part in one of the high-octane action movies, Larson responded, "One hundred percent. Please tell everybody I would of course want to be in a Fast & Furious movie. I’m obsessed. I love them. I think they’re so good. They’re so fun. And they’ve made me appreciate cars. And it’s something that should be appreciated. They’re incredible."

We certainly wouldn't have pegged Larson for a hardcore fan of the Fast & Furious series, but many unexpected Hollywood A-Listers have boarded the movies in recent years. Among those names are performers like Helen Mirren, Kurt Russell, and Charlize Theron, so there's certainly room for an actress of Larson's calibre.

When the interviewer joked that there could be potential for an Avengers/Fast & Furious crossover movie, The Marvels star seemed enthusiastic. "Whoa! That’s a gazillion-dollar idea," Larson enthused. "I’m down to play new characters and whatever. Whatever it takes, but I’m very down for a crossover moment. I think you’ve tapped into something that is a true love of mine, so I would be so down."

The current interaction of the Fast & Furious franchise appears to be nearing its end, with a two-part finale expected to wrap up the stories of Dominic Torretto and company. Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom star Jason Momoa recently signed up to star in the next instalment, so there's still time for Larson to make her dream come true.

The next Fast & Furious movie is currently set to be released in theaters on May 19, 2023.
