The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that Drew Pearce has been hired by Paramount to write the fifth Mission Impossible movie. It was recently announced that Tom Cruise will return as 'Ethan Hunt', while the site goes on to reiterate those recent rumours about Jack Reacher's Christopher McQuarrie being in talks to helm the film. Apparently, the plan is to shoot the movie as soon as this fall after work on Warner Bros.' The Man From U.N.C.L.E. concludes. Plot details are still being kept under wraps, but this news should come as very good news for fans of Iron Man 3.
