Liam Neeson Reveals That There Are No Current Plans For An A-Team Sequel!

The Batman Begins actor has confirmed that there are no current plans for a sequel to The A-Team, but says he'd like to return to the role of Hannibal and shares his thoughts on its poor box office performance...

In a recent interview whil promoting his latest movie, Unknown, Liam Neeson revealed that there aren't any plans to make a sequel to The A-Team despite his interest in reuniting with co-stars Bradley Cooper, Sharlto Copley and Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson.

"There's nothing planned at the minute, but the studios certainly aren't saying no. I personally would love to get on the horse again with Bradley and Sharlto and Rampage - we all would. But with the studios and the studio system it's a question of dollars and cents."

"I thought it was a really good movie, you know? And thought it would've done much, much better at the box office in America, but the studio released it the day after the World Cup started, and I think that probably affected the overall performance of the film."

As you may already know, the movie opened to fairly mixed reviews and performed nowhere near as well at the box office, only grossing $170 million on a budget of $100m. Would you like to see a sequel though? What did you think of the first movie? Be sure to share your thoughts in the usual place!

First off, they would have to recast B.A. Baracus since Jackson said he would never do a movie ever again. Other than that I would tolerate a sequel, but I would much rather see The Expendables II. Sharlto Copley needs to be in more movies, and Men in Black III does not count.

I'd love to see a sequel. A-Team was a fun movie and IMHO all the actors pulled off their respective parts very well, although Jackson really needs to embrace his inner "Mr. T".

The A-Team was a very fun action movie. If they kept the same people involved, I would love to see a sequel. For an 80's tv show movie remake, you couldn't expect much better than what was given.

I would not watch on a tram. I would not watch it on a dam. I would not watch it while eating spam. I would not watch this sequel Sam I Am.

I would watch, it was fun... - but a new movie shouldn't have obvious mistakes like the train station and dome of Cologne declared as "Frankfurt/Germany". That's sheer ignorance of foreign countries. No one in Germany would show the Golden Gate Bridge and declare it as "New York". That was really really poor.

The movie caught me by surprise...I didnt think it was going to be that good. I really enjoyed it from the beginning to the end. Crossing fingers for a sequal. & yes i agree with him that opening the movie the same day as the world cup did effect the box office #'s

The movie was...uh...mostly bad really I thought. It was watchable enough and the action was alright (when it wasnt being let down by some appalling CGI) but it was mostly the performances that saved it. If they do make a sequel, they need A NEW director.

It seemed reviewers and people either liked it for what it was, or hated it for what it was. It was a fun, over the top, action film that for the most part captured the essence of the show. Sure it could be tweeked a bit next time, but I think for the most part they hit the nail on the head. It didn't take itself too seriously and that's how I enjoyed the film. I'd love a sequel with some minor adjustments.

I went in expecting to hate this movie & spend 90 minutes making fun of it but I ended up getting caught up in it and having a lot of fun. I wouldn't mind seeing a sequel at all. As a few others pointed out, it was a hell of a lot more deserving of a sequel than that piece of ass-vomit that got passed off as as "G.I. Joe".

The movie wasn't very good. It was mindless over the top action. It may serve an audience well enough for one film, but I don't think anyone is demanding a sequel. It was just a fun movie that you forgot about as soon as you left the theater.

I liked it, good to see a hollyweid ction movie that didn't tae itself seriously & was hoping that a sequel would have ironed out what flaws it had. However I can see in this case where so of the hate is coming from, 'coz it really isa silly movie, its just a matter of whether you embrace that or not.
