Tom Cruise Meets Zola & The White Widow In Intriguing New Stills From MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE - FALLOUT

Empire Magazine has debuted a new still from Paramount Pictures' Mission: Impossible - Fallout, offering an intriguing first look at Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and August Walker (Henry Cavill) meeting two mysterious new characters that are simply known as Zola (Frederick Schmidt) and the White Widow (Vanessa Kirby). While we know Hunt & Walker will go undercover in order to break out Solomon Lane (Sean Harris), it remains to be seen how exactly these two new players factor into their plan.

While speaking with the magazine, director Chris McQuarrie reaffirmed that this will indeed be the most emotional Mission yet as Hunt is forced to confront every decision he's ever made to save the world. “I said to Tom that I wanted to make a more emotional film, more about character and less about stringing together action set-pieces. He embraced that.

Plus, The Drive has released four additional photos from the film, which shine a spotlight on three of the vehicles Ethan Hunt will be seen zipping around in throughout the course of the movie.

Check out all of the new photos at once by clicking on the VIEW LIST (ONE PAGE) button below!

The first is a black BMW M5, which features an insane 591 HP 4.4-liter V-8 biturbo engine, fully equipped with a newly-developed high-performance M xDrive all-wheel drive. The manufacturer says that the "BMW M5 makes sure that Cruise’s Ethan Hunt always has the best-possible traction and superior driving dynamics to keep him ahead of his enemies."

The custom BMW M5 movie car has been personalized with parts from the BMW M Performance Parts, which include a black kidney grille and carbon-fiber mirror caps, amongst other things.

Another key sequence will see Cruise take the wheel of a vintage 1986 BMW 5 Serie Sedan in what's being described as a "high-octane scene." While the sequence looked plenty exciting in the trailers, set photos have already more or less confirmed that his time in this car won't exactly end well.

It really doesn't get much better than Tom Cruise on a motorcycle and here we see him zipping around on a BMW R nineT Scrambler motorcycle. Paramount was kind enough to preview this entire motorcycle sequence at CinemaCon and I can assure you that this will undoubtedly be one of the film's many standout moments.

The best intentions often come back to haunt you. MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE - FALLOUT finds Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his IMF team (Alec Baldwin, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames) along with some familiar allies (Rebecca Ferguson, Michelle Monaghan) in a race against time after a mission gone wrong. Henry Cavill, Angela Bassett, and Vanessa Kirby also join the dynamic cast with filmmaker Christopher McQuarrie returning to the helm.

Mission: Impossible - Fallout features:
Director: Chris McQuarrie
Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt
Henry Cavill as August Walker
Simon Pegg as Benji Dunn
Rebecca Ferguson as Ilsa Faust
Ving Rhames as Luther Stickell
Sean Harris as Solomon Lane
Angela Bassett as Erica Sloan
Vanessa Kirby as the White Widow
Michelle Monaghan as Julia Meade-Hunt
Alec Baldwin as Alan Hunley
Sian Brooke in an undisclosed role
Wes Bentley in an undisclosed role
Frederick Schmidt as Zola

Mission: Impossible - Fallout lights the fuse July 25 in the U.K. and July 27 in the U.S.
