AVATAR 2 Set Photo Reveals A Winged Kate Winslet Working Underwater On James Cameron's Sequel
A newly revealed photo from the set of Avatar 2 shows Kate Winslet working underwater on James Cameron's highly anticipated sequel, and it appears as if her character will...have wings?! Check it out...
Work on Avatar 2 has finished according to director James Cameron, while he recently said that 90% of the third instalment is also done. Now, though, the franchise's official Twitter account has shared a new look at star Kate Winslet working underwater...with the addition of some wings!
Recently, the actress talked about holding her breath during these scenes for upwards of seven minutes, and that can't have been easy wearing what look like a massive cape. It seems obvious that Winslet will play a Na'vi of some sort, but could these apparent wings point to the Oscar-winner playing another type of creature hailing from the depths of Pandora?
That remains to be seen, especially as plot details are being kept a closely guarded secret by Cameron and company. While the filmmaker has ambitious plans to release an Avatar 4 and 5, those are unconfirmed, and Disney is likely keen to see how the second and third chapters are received first.
It's been so long since Avatar was released that some fans have joked online that this next instalment might as well be a reboot, but one thing that has been made clear is that part two is a sequel.

From Kate Winslet's recent interview in @THR: “I had to learn how to free-dive to play that role in Avatar, and that was just incredible. My longest breath hold was seven minutes and 14 seconds, like crazy, crazy stuff.” pic.twitter.com/ZYAmZdNgHS
