After bringing one trilogy to a close next month with Spider-Man: No Way Home, Tom Holland is hoping to launch a new one with the February debut of his video game adaptation Uncharted, which will see him step into the iconic shoes of Nathan Drake.

Earlier this month, during the India Sweets and Spices press tour, we sat down with the film's female lead Sophia Ali (Grey's Anatomy; Truth or Dare) and got a small tease of what to expect from her take on fellow fortune hunter Chloe Frazer, who will surely be ready to get the best of Nate and beat him to "the greatest treasure never found."

"She’s so different than Alia, from anyone actually that I’ve ever had the privilege of playing, which is so cool, she was a big challenge though because I had to learn an Australian accent, so much of her stuff is stunts and she’s such a badass in the games that I wanted to be able to do that with the stunts. I wanted to look just as badass and hopefully, I do, but you never know. It’s scary!"

While Chloe is expected to be Nate's love interest in this film, fans of the video game series know that the two don't ultimately end up together, opting to instead stay friends and head off on their own unique adventures - one of which is The Lost Legacy, which takes place after Uncharted 4: A Thief's End and sees Chloe team-up with Nadine Ross to recover the Tusk of Ganesh.

The initial buzz suggested Tati Gabrielle (Chilling Adventures of SabrinaYou) could be playing a younger Nadine, but following the trailer release, it's now been confirmed that she'll be playing an original character named Braddock, so it sounds like we can pump the brakes on any spinoff speculation. However, it sounds like if/when the time comes, Ali would be more than down to headline a spinoff.

"We speculated on whether or not she was Nadine, we really hoped she would be, but she wasn’t. We don’t introduce Nadine, maybe in the second film or third, who knows. If they were to go off and do their own movie, that would be pretty baller."
