BEWARE THE BATMAN Will Not Return In March - Titles For Episodes 14 and 15 Revealed

This delay shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone. Well, at least we know the titles for episodes 14 and 15...

Series Overview (in my own words): Beware The Batman takes place in the early years of the Caped Crusader as he teams up with sword mistress Katana, Alfred's goddaughter, to protect Gotham from a growing criminal underworld ruled by such adversaries as Anarky, Professor Pyg, Mr. Toad, Simon Stagg, Tobias Whale and Magpie. But when the League Of Assassins, an international terrorist organization tied to Alfred and Katana's past, comes after Wayne Eneterprise's latest invention that has the potential to change the world, it is up to the trio to stop the League. The series stars Anthony Ruivivar as Batman, JB Blanc as Alfred, Sumalee Montano as Katana and Lance Reddick as Ra's Al Ghul.

Remember how episode 12 (titled "Attraction") was supposedly going to air to air March 16 and episode 13 (mid-season finale titled "Fall") was coming March 23? Well, that's not happening. The websites that listed those dates (TV.com, EP Guides and a few others) have now listed these episode's airdates as TBA 2014. If I am counting correctly, I believe this is the third time these episodes have been delayed. The series went on a mysterious hiatus in October 2013, just after the 11th episode aired. It was supposed to return in January. It was delayed a couple of times after that. The series is highly rumoured to be cancelled. Both episodes 12 and 13 are featured on the Blu-Ray and DVD collection Beware The Batman: Season 1 Part 1-Shadows Of Gotham.

The titles for episodes 14 and 15 have seemingly been revealed. Apparently, episode 14 is "Darkness," and 15 is "Reckoning." Following the cliff hanger left in the mid-season finale, these titles make perfect sense.

While I honestly doubt the remaining 13 out of 26 episodes of Beware The Batman will ever reach the airwaves, there is still a chance that the remaining episodes will be released on DVD and Blu-Ray. For those who wish for this to happen, our best bet is to buy Season 1 Part 1 and/or start a petition.

Cartoon Network fails all over the place. First Young Justice, then GL, now Beware the Batman(the only decent show after YJ and GL).

Dear Cartoon Network.

[frick] you.

Just because a show doesn't sell enough toys doesn't mean that show should be cancelled.

I just picked up the BTB video at my library to finally see two new episodes. I haven't watched it yet so I don't know if they are good or not. Cartoon Network really is just asking for hate. They cancel shows people like then put out new shows which no one wanted. Then they don't even give people a chance to like this show. But they give another season to Teen Titans Go. Which that too no one. It is a worse show then was on CN years but the head execs love that version of TT more. I really would love to see what goes on behind the scenes and why these bad choices they go with. Because I really have to believe there is better ideas that they sadly throw away.

Once I got over the look of the show (not too appealing), I realized the stories were not interesting.

@ThunderKat - Totally agreed!

"mysterious hiatus" ??? It's perfectly not mysterious- it's vividly obvious! The show was horrible! It's like they set out to create a show that did everything viewers wouldn't want to watch. The plot was so dry! The look was ugly! Honestly, I'd sign a petition to NOT have the rest of the episodes released. Not even digitally.

CN needs to bring back good shows like Young Justice, Green Lantern, or Thundercats. Or at least make new ones that don't suck.

And this is exactly what will continue to happen until DC finds a way to separate from Warner Brothers.
