With all the heart and humor audiences expect from Walt Disney Animation Studios, “Big Hero 6” is an action-packed comedy-adventure about robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada, who learns to harness his genius—thanks to his brilliant brother Tadashi and their like-minded friends: adrenaline junkie Go Go Tamago, neatnik Wasabi, chemistry whiz Honey Lemon and fanboy Fred. When a devastating turn of events catapults them into the midst of a dangerous plot unfolding in the streets of San Fransokyo, Hiro turns to his closest companion—a robot named Baymax—and transforms the group into a band of high-tech heroes determined to solve the mystery. Inspired by the Marvel comics of the same name, and featuring comic-book style action, “Big Hero 6” is directed by Don Hall (“Winnie the Pooh”) and Chris Williams (“Bolt”), and produced by Roy Conli (“Tangled”). The film hits theaters in 3D on November 7, 2014. The film hits theaters in 3D on November 7, 2014.

Looks like an enjoyable family friendly romp. Hopefully its good so we can get some more Disney/Marvel adaptations because Marvel could definitely use some good animated stuff.

Genesis Rodriguez is smoking hot sexy. Now she's voicing a cartoon...rather see her in the flesh.

sooo clearly they are trying to spend as little money on the cast as possible? still looks good though, waiting to see more from it.

Yeah Hiro Hamada totally looks Asian, though I guess I should give them a pass because of Anime and Manga in general

Oh and I don't like the look for Fredzilla either.

^^You're telling me that kids wouldn't like a giant dinosaur on a team with a robot [frick]ing shit up?

I'm fine with the look of this film.
It could be fun.

I had a problem with the Japanese kid being made quasi-anglo but he could be part White since I have no idea what this is actually about. I just get suspicious when they start making the race of the lead murky because they don't want to fully commit. Hollywood is good for that sort of thing. Just ask Neil Gaimen.

Anyway the animation looks cool so I'm in.

@Humperdink

I feel the same way but I'm not sure if its Hollywood being "Hollywood" or Hollywood trying to mimic Japan. Russell from Up was a nice thing to see

I only recognize a couple of the actors/actresses. The animation looks good.

@SnapperCarr Fredzilla in the movie looks way underwhelming compared to that. Maybe his form will change to something more similar to that later in the movie?

Russell from Up was a nice thing to see

Yes, he was.

They didn't try to pander or cop-out and it was refreshing.
Hollywood is definitely focused on race when it comes to the bottom line.
Like when they tried to dissuade that Darkhorse comics team from putting Black people in Sci-Fi because 'Black People Don’t See Themselves In The Future'.

Those are the notions they've formed and toss around casually and it's usually just because they are concerned about the profit.

They want to get the most appeal and make the most money.

To the people who know more about 'Big Hero 6" than I do (which is just about everyone), are all the characters in the rundown from the comics or did Disney create new characters just for the movie?

The only thing that looks bad with this film so far is Fredzilla. Really wish they would have just stuck with the dinosaur design, instead of whatever the eff that is!

Is it my imagination or is Honey Lemon's fingers bigger then they should be? Maybe I'm looking way too much into her hands for the peace sign. But for some reason I just don't think they would line up. When not giving the peace sign. Other then that I'm looking forward to this movie and hope it will be great.
