Bruce Timm and Andrea Romano On The Cancellation Of YOUNG JUSTICE And GLTAS
While attending the West Coast premiere for The Dark Knight Returns Part 2, Bruce Timm and Andrea Romano was asked their thoughts on the recent cancellation of both Young Justice and Green Lantern The Animated Series. Timm also revealed that he did not work on Superman: Unbound.

Yesterday the shocking news came down from Cartoon Network that they decided, much to fans dismay, that they would not be bringing Green Lantern: The Animated Series and Young Justice back for any more seasons. Bruce Timm, who's work in DC animation needs no introduction, was an Executive Producer on Green Lantern: The Animated Series, and was asked to share his thoughts on what happens next for DC Nation. "I honestly couldn’t tell you exactly. We do have the new Teen Titans show and the Batman show coming up. Hopefully those will do very well and kinda keep the DC animation thing going on TV. Beyond that, you know, I don’t know. It’s kind of an interesting time. I’m gonna keep busy doing stuff," he told The Realm Cast. Casting Director Andrea Romano weighed in by saying that there is no way they can let DC Nation go completely, that the fans are demanding more than just the home release movies. She did say though, that she would like to see, "something that’s more female oriented," on the programming block. Romano also said that she saw the first footage for Beware The Batman, and that it's going to be, "awesome."
Timm has worked on countless DC Animated projects including most of their movies. However, that will change when it comes to Superman: Unbound. When asked by Fanboy Comics if him not being listed on the IMDB page for Superman: Unbound was just an over sight Timm replaied, "Um, no, I didn't work on that one." However, fans of his should not fret. While again talking with The Realm Cast Timm said he that he has several things in development at Warner Brothers. It is unclear whether or not the projects are animated or not, but for the latest make sure to check back here at CBM.
