Random House/Disney is publishing a new book called Play-cation and the description in the children's book has some revealing Toy Story short information, that it will based on Ken & Barbie's Hawaiian adventure, synopsis below.

Bonnie is off to Hawaii, and Barbie and Ken are excited to go along on their first tropical vacation! But when they’re accidentally left behind, it’s up to Buzz, Woody, and the rest of the toys to create a Hawaiian paradise right in Bonnie’s room.

Based on the latest animated short featuring the toys from Disney/Pixar Toy Story, this full-color storybook includes punch-out postcards that girls and boys ages 3-7 will love sending to their friends!


Cars 2 is to be released on June 24th 2011.

@Arrion - I haven't even seen the fourth Shrek...
It looked to me like they just made it to release a Shrek movie in 3D...

Nice find @ Leee, and Im with most of you...the 3rd Toy Story ended perfectly, a fourth movie is not needed. But a short is a good way to keep the Toy Story world alive.

Why are people so stupid? Disney isn't making another Toy Story. They're just using Toy Story as a basis for their animated shorts before each Pixar film.

Yeah you're right... Barbie and Ken weren't in Bonnie's room when the film ended. They were still part of Sunnyside. I hope Pixar clears that up for us!

I'm happy with the TS trilogy. I'd be happy if they made a fourth, but still happy if they decide to conclude with TS3 because it wrapped things up quite nicely and doesn't feel very open for any sequel(s).
