The news comes from Kodansha’s Comic Plus e-mail newsletter and Natalie.mu. For now, that’s all that has been revealed. We don’t even know if it’s an anime movie or live action. Saiyan Island hopes to have more information as it surfaces.

Fairy Tail, created by mangaka Hiro Mashima, was first released in Japanese publisher Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine on August 23, 2006. It has since than been created into an anime by A-1 Pictures and Satelight. The anime first episode aired on Japanese airwaves via TV Tokyo on October 12, 2009 and was announced as an acquired property by North America’s FUNimation in April of this year. FUNimation has actually just begun to release English dubbed versions of Fairy Tail.

Fairy Tail Part 1 - Available on Blu-ray and DVD Combo 11.22.11 - Trailer

The only anime/manga thing I like, is Sailor Moon...That is the only one I want as a live action movie. Because Sailor Moon is the best!

I don't know what to say about this :P

I love the manga and enjoyed the anime, so I'm very curious about an actual movie, its most likely going to be anime, Naruto hasn't gotten a live action movie.....yet.....and like all movies it will be non-canon to the main series but will be fun to watch

@Grif- Well they don't live in Japan and they don't have Japanese names either. Does "Lucy Heartfelia" sound Japanese to you? "Gray Fullbuster", "Erza Scarlet". The only of the main characters to have a Japanese name is "Natsu Dragneel"- the dude with pink hair, eats fire and was raised by a dragon.

The Trailer only lasts 30 seconds so I haven't got a good overview of the Storyline but I do hope it will include Igneel or Natsu being engulfed in flame and turning into a Huge Flame-Dragon.Also if Makarov dies and turns into Fairy dust (of course he won't die, it's a Shounen -.-)
