The news comes from Kodansha’s Comic Plus e-mail newsletter and Natalie.mu. For now, that’s all that has been revealed. We don’t even know if it’s an anime movie or live action. Saiyan Island hopes to have more information as it surfaces.

Fairy Tail, created by mangaka Hiro Mashima, was first released in Japanese publisher Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine on August 23, 2006. It has since than been created into an anime by A-1 Pictures and Satelight. The anime first episode aired on Japanese airwaves via TV Tokyo on October 12, 2009 and was announced as an acquired property by North America’s FUNimation in April of this year. FUNimation has actually just begun to release English dubbed versions of Fairy Tail.
