First Look: Scooby-Doo and Gang Join Batman: The Brave and the Bold!

Batman and Scooby-Doo are crime fighting together again that first happened in the early 1970s. The special episode of Batman: The Brave and the Bold will air April 1 on the Cartoon Network and Bat-Mite too, no, no joke...

The special crossover is titled "Batman's Strangest Cases," which features the cross-dimensional Bat-Mite voiced by Paul "Pee-wee Herman" Reubens. Bat-Mite takes us through weird alternate DC Universe realities which includes the Scooby-Doo crossover and also done in the same style as the early 1970s one that happened nearly 40 years ago. Also theres an old Mad Magazine spoof from the 1960s as well.

"Batman's Strangest Cases" is written by animation and comic book vet Paul Dini.

Batman: The Brave and the Bold will air Friday, April 1 6:30/5:30c on The Cartoon Network.

LEEE777 - Scooby-Doo, Mad Magazine, Bat-Mite and probably more, I think this one is definitely worth watching, a must see, how about you?

I've seen this episode, and it may be the best one ever. This is some absolute brilliant parody, and a real treat for the true Bat-fan. Ten out of ten (and I don't give tens very often).

I think the Mad parody is from the '50s. I've got the original comic this story comes from in a reprint in an old Mad Super Special from the early or mid '70s. It was in a comic-sized comic book, like Mad appeared in during the early EC days.
