It's not terrible, but I'm not loving it. I think the Bugs voice could be better, and the animation could be more like the classic style.
EDIT: Now that I watched more clips, I actually think it's kinda funny! I might have to check this out. I'm hoping for appearances by the Tiny Toons and Animaniacs, but I won't hold my breath on that one.

@Freshkicks1212 Wasn't CN already looking up with shows like Adventure Time and Regular Show; those shows just bring back the edginess that was originally found in 90s Cartoon Network show.

But still this show and Young Justice are making CN look good again.

@BigK1337 no hell no... "Adventure Time and Regular Show" Personally I think those shows are a load of crap. and let us not forget about those terrible shitty low budget live action shows. all those "recent" shows e.g Chowder, flapjacks. Dont compare and could never compare to the old CN shows like Johnny Bravo, The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy, and Dexter's Laboratory.

But things are looking up there are a lot of shows i enjoy currently like even the new Scooby-Doo, I love the original Ben 10. but kind of dislike the newer Alien Force and Ultimate alien. Plus there is a new upcoming Thundercats which looks awesome so yes thinks are now starting to look up in my opinion.

Being a huge Looney tunes fan from the old days, I gotta say I'm liking this new version. Sure, bugs voice sounds off when I hear it, but we all know why that is, and it's a pretty good imitation, way better than what I can do, lol. I wonder if the voice of daffy duck is the same person who did the duck dodgers cartoon from a few years back. If they have someone who can do a good yosemite sam, then I'm as good as hooked!

Although they don't have the slapstick that made the orignals so awesome, these are still pretty damn funny.

Freshkicks1212 - 3/1/2011, 12:50 PM
@Superspecialawesomeguy why isnt there any slapstick? because of the TV ratings policies these days?

Well at least some version of Looney Tunes will be back on T.V., though i'd love it if they brought the original back. Kids today know about Hannah Montana, and Justin Bieber, but look at you strange when you start talking about Bugs Bunny. It's sad.

How long has Mel Blanc(the great!) been gone? WB has had that long to find a replacement, and this is as good as they found?
The clips are only ok, seem more like animaniacs or histeria(those shows were both good but they weren't trying to be looney toons) than the wb shorts we all know and love.

Ok, I like this. I like the updated style of humor. These are usually awful ideas, but it's funny.

When people talk about the classic style; which style are they speaking of? Friz Freleng? Tex Avery? Chuck Jones?...

Every artist put their own stamp on the characters.
Superspecialawesomeguy
Superspecialawesomeguy - 3/2/2011, 9:06 AM
@Freshkicks1212 Yeah I assume so,can't think of any other reason that they'd rely less on the physical stuff, it could be to just differentiate itself from the origanal series.

This whole thing feels flat- comparable to the mid '60s Looney Tunes, when they were about out of ideas. Where are the funny sight gags? Where is the slapstick? These 'gags' would work just as well with live actors. It's not as bad as that show from a few years back that completely changed all the characters- think it was on WB.

The only good that could come from this is if it leads kids to discover the originals, which are still among the funniest things ever done in any medium.
