According to Deadline, four more additions to the voice cast of Warner Bros.' upcoming 3D animated adaptation LEGO (which previously had the working title LEGO: The Piece Of Resistance) have been made. According to the site, Batman Begins' Liam Neeson, Anchorman's Will Ferrell, Community's Alison Brie and Park And Recreation's Nick Offerman have been added to the cast of the Chris Miller/Phil Lord-directed movie. They join the previously announced Chris Pratt (who voices the protagonist Emmet), Elizabeth Banks, Morgan Freeman, and Will Arnett (who makes an appearance as Batman). Channing Tatum was previously in talks to voice Superman, but dropped out; there's currently no word on who will voice the Man Of Steel now. The story follows Emmet, "an ordinary, rules-following, perfectly average Lego minifigure who is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person and the key to saving the world. He is drafted into a fellowship of strangers on an epic quest to stop an evil tyrant." Ferrell will play the primary antagonist, President Business; Neeson will voice the president’s powerful henchman, Bad Cop; Offerman is a pirate obsessed with revenge on President Business, and Brie is a member of Emmet’s team with a powerful secret. LEGO is set to hit theaters February 7th, 2014.
