Via Superman Super Site, we now have three new stills from DC Animation's next project, Justice League: Doom, based loosely on Mark Waid's critically acclaimed JLA: Tower Of Babel, which deals with Batman's perceived betrayal to the superhuman community by keeping records concerning the strengths and weaknesses of his allies in the Justice League. In addition, a press release has been issued announcing the world premiere of the film, which takes place February 13th, 2012 (15 days before the movie hits DVD/Blu-Ray). The press release also says that you can get free tickets to the event if you live in New York (where the premiere is being held); to find out how, check out the press release below.

Warner Home Video, MTV Geek and The Paley Center for Media proudly present the World Premiere of Justice League: Doom, the next entry in the popular, ongoing series of DC Universe Animated Original Movies, in New York on February 13, 2012. Filmmakers and members of the voice cast will attend the event for red carpet media interviews and a post-screening panel discussion.

A limited number of free tickets are available for the general public. Fans in the New York City area wishing to receive free tickets to the NY event on Feb. 13 must RSVP via email to JLDoomNY@yahoo.com. Fans should include their first and last name and a valid email address.

Can't really judge animation by stills. Looks pretty decent to me, along the lines of "Young Justice" and "Crisis on Two Earths."

Yeah I'm not sold on the artwork either. Some of it looks like it was straight out of Crisis On Two Earths (especially Martian Manhunter). But knowing DC Animation, they always do well with their storytelling even if the actual animation isn't the best.

I'm a Marvel fan all the way , but I have to admit DC destroys marvel when it comes to animated movies.

Wait: WHAT?!
Ra's was replaced by the Royal Flush Gang? I like the RF but the story's most important element was that Dynamic between Batman have a contingency and his father-in-law exploiting it. It's very much a Ra's story. Not cool if that is indeed the case.

And besides the light speed seizures, Aquaman's Aquaphobia was the most twisted trump card. Not cool. I'll still check it out, but not cool.

yeah, the artwork isn't the best of any animated DC movie, but still better than any animated Marvel movie.

I don't think the art looks especially bad, just a bit more simple.

The art looks off why didnt they just use the Young Justice style, they used Manhunter's costume but screwed up his face.

"visually flash looks cool but not much character to him or his villians."

Flash doesn't have character? are you insane? i'll agree with him having one of the worst rogues galleries in all of comics, but come on, Flash has TONS of character to him.

Like PaulRom said, DC sometimes stray a little in their character design for these movies but always make up for it in their storytelling. Just look at Superman is Apocalypse and All-Star, not the best animated design we've seen but the movies themselves are great.

Definately the same team from Crisis on Two Earths, which to me, is by far their best DCU dvd movie yet! Only weird thing is, theyre changing the voices up. But atleast they are using the best of the bunch.
