DC Entertainment has another animated series up its sleeve. According to Stephanie Lemelin's Blog, she will be voicing the character of Arrowette for the new show.

WOW. Ok… I am beyond thrilled to announce that I was recently cast in the new animated series, YOUNG JUSTICE LEAGUE, based on the famous (and awesome!?) DC Comics. I seriously could not be more excited about being welcomed into this amazing family… what a fantastic way to start the new year! I will be voicing the character of Arrowette (see ridiculously hot avatar below!!! um, could I love her anymore?) as well as several supporting cast members… Due to the extreme popularity of this series, however, that’s about all I can say… for now. So excited, this is really a dream come true for me, I have ALWAYS WANTED TO BE A SATURDAY MORNING CARTOOON!!! Woohoo!

I always liked Young Justice, it had a nice fun feel to it. Hopefully this will be nothing like Next Avengers though.

Gonna have to agree with Grif on this one. This looks pretty sucky. Hope it's not as bad as Teen Titans.

Title of article is misleading.It's Young Justice, not Young Justice League.I was thinking it was going to be some lame monstrosity featuring kid versions of the Justice League, but it's actually going to be an adaptation of one of my favorite comics, Young Justice.This is cool.I had no idea this was even being done.I wanna see the other character designs.The animation looks pretty good.Not cartoony like Teen Titans and more refined that Justice League.I kinda hope they use Superboy's current costume instead of his original.

It’s Sorta THE Young Justice. They will be going out with this BIG TIME at Comic Con. From what I saw, it’s Martian Girl, Aqualad, Nightwing, Impulse, Arrowette, and Connor Kent. The poster gives me the tone that it’s a cross between JLU and TT. I liked the look a lot. It’s not quite Timm-style, but it’s not All Murikami’d out like Teen Titans.

The kids were the focus of the poster, in the center, but The JL was behind them.

I agree. I wish that they had just continued with Justice League Unlimited. I always felt that the show was cut short anyway.

@ashley darn it why Nightwing it should be Tim Drake. Grayson had the Teen Titans. It should be Drake's turn, Tim is the best Robin there ever was because he is the one most like Batman. Its not like they have not introduced Tim on TV he was the Robin in The Adventures of Batman & Robin which took place after Batman: The Animated Series. Not to mention that he was the Robin in Young Justice.

@Supermario Agreed. I still say that was ONE of the BEST shows to come out. I was sad they cut it short. Only 4 seasons? Come on they could've popped out another 3 at least.

@Kes I am happy for Ashley to get the part and I hope that this series does good and I will check it out regardless even if it differs a little from Young Justice I am still fine with that. But I would much rather see Tim Drake/Robin then Nightwing and thats one thing they should not take liberties with. I mean come on they are going to have Conner Kent but not Tim Drake. Tim Drake is so much easier to show in a animated series because he has already been introduced in one.

I also wish they'd given us more Justice League Unlimited. That was one of my all-time favorite superhero series ever. These damn networks always cancel animated superhero series right when they're really hitting their stride creatively, while allowing crap like Pokemon or YuGiOh to produce new episodes forever. It's freaking disgusting.

Anyway, if this series is done like Young Jostice, it could be good. I'm glad to find others here who enjoyed that book. It was always really underrated, imo. I just hope this series is not overly silly like the early Teen Titans were.

I'm with you guys on JLU, but it's been 4 years.We gotta get over it.Young Justice has proven itself to be a great formula with the comic books.Fans really want this series in trades, yet we don't have it.If they stick closely to the series(Robin, Impulse, Superboy, Wonder Girl and Arrowette) is should be good fun.

I think i miss Teen Titans more than JLU. And I think it makes more sense that this is like Young Avengers, in the sense that it might be the next DC animated movie after Crisis.

There's Planet Hulk and Thor coming from Marvel after having Hulk Vs. And after Green Lantern and Superman/Batman there's Crisis and Under the Hood. So it wouldn't be too far fetched to be a movie. But even so It'd be neat to watch. I hope it's a little more JLU and a little less Brave and Bold though, as much as I enjoy that as well.

I really want to see a Wesely Dodds Sandman tv series, live action or animated. More adult orriented of course but I think Sandman is a great character for a mystery show.

Come on people do you read anything. Young Justice was an actual comic that came out in the late 90's. Its where Tim Drake/Robin and Conner Kent/Superboy's close friendship first starts. Its way better then Young Avengers

Wow well im still excited about a new cartoon espescially a DC comic one! And i liked teen titatns and of course no one would really like it it was mainly for kids not like JLU which i think was more grown up

BillyBlack- Actually, Lil' Lobo was the best part of the series until they turned him into a pussy. I don't remember what happened but at some point, his red eyes turned yellow and he no longer had any confidence or muscles. IT SUCKED!!! But before that, brilliant :))
