OPINION: Which Would You Have Prefered- CG Animation or Regular 2D For Green Lantern?

After seeing the new images from the series, which animation style would fans prefer for Green Lantern: The Animated series? Classic 2D animation or the 3D CG that they are going with?

With the hour-long premiere of Green Lantern: Animated Series debuting on Cartoon Network this Friday @ 7pm, it raises a question that I think all fans of the character have been debating since the first pictures were released:

Do You Prefer The Classic 2D Animation Style

OR

Do You Prefer The 3D CG Animation Style They Are Going With?

Post your responses in the comment boards and let the debate begin!!
And I feel that I should just remind everyone that Green Lantern: The Animated Series is being produced by DC Animation legend Bruce W. Timm, the same man who brought us Batman The Animated Series, Superman The Animated Series, Justice League, Batman Beyond, and all of the DC Universe Animated Original Movies.

@LordDeathMan No, don't get me wrong. I completely agree with you. I actually find the CG to be something fresh and new and I am very excited for this show. I think the CG will allow more techniques and shots that 2D animation either wouldn't allow or would take too much time to accomplish.

I also think that the CG works with who the character is and what the show entails. It involves big battle scenes and the emerald constructs. I think that the computer animation will make this series stronger and give us something new and exciting to watch, while stil getting the clasic Bruce Timm look and feel

I am looking forward to this show and I like the CG... :) I'm hoping that if it's good they'll do a new Superman, Batman, WW, Flash, shows in CG and in GLTAS's universe so that they can come to a new Justice League show!

I generally lean towards wanting 2D animation but from the shots i saw in the leaked minutes of the show. It looked better that way then in 2D. So i symphasize with both sides of the arguement.

I absolutely love Donkey Kong, ReBoot, and Star Wars Clone Wars so I definitely want a CGI DC show. CGI is so cheap these days especially with the style and level of detail they have for Green Lantern that there is no reason not to.

I really wish we still had an edit button. I do however think the style of the new Batman CGI show with the smashed heads look really bad.

This is one time I have to go with 3d. It looks crisp, sleeker and overall better. Some shows work better with the 3d animation than others. Iron Man Armore Adventures, the animation chosen for that show was poorly done, in my opinion. Star Wars Clone Wars is an exception mostly because it's Star Wars. 3d animation for Green Lantern will adapt well for sure, especially since this kind of show has never been done before.
