The Red Skull Strikes in Micro-Episode 15 of The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heores

Watch in the latest micro-episode of The Avengers: EMH animated series, as Captain America & Bucky come face-to-face with HYDRA's own Super Soldier, the Red Skull.

In yesterday's micro-episode of The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes animated series, we went back in time to meet Captain America, before he cameg face-to-face with one of Red Skull's Goliath experiments. Today's episode "The Red Skull Strikes", picks up where we left off...and goes beyond.

"Captain America & Bucky come face-to-face with HYDRA's own Super Soldier, the Red Skull."

I really love the spiritual connection to Thor & Norse Mythology overall. And I know the idea of far-fetched creatures being introduced in that time period, will provide brilliant storylines for modern times. What do you think?

If you're having difficulties viewing the micro, see if going HERE could help. And you can check out past & future mini-episodes that'll unveil daily up to when Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes assembles October 20 on Disney XD, below.

THIS is the Cap that I want to see! Not the pretender running around in that lame live-action movie. This series just gets better every day. I love the connection with Thor and the Norse mythology. This could make one hell of a comic book mini-series if it was fleshed out a bit! I'm looking forward to seeing how they tie Cap into the modern world.

Notice something else cool here: Cap is wearing his REAL COSTUME. No stupid brown gloves or boots. No helmet. No queer-ass goggles. He looks every inch the icon he is.

In the movies it better damn well only be a special group inside the Nazi war machine.

If we get through the whole Cap movie with any mentions of Nazis then there is something very wrong

Did you guys see Wolverine in the last one? Like I've said before I love me some cameos. I'm really looking forward to this cartoon. This cartoon seems more enjoyable then the anime style ones that G4 are gonna do.

Cyclops: I've been around long enough and have been burned enough times by blockbuster movies that failed to deliver on their promise to be the greatest thing ever that I know the warning signs to look for that tell me "don't waste your money on this". I absolutely hate the ridiculous outfit they're making Cap wear in this film. The details of the story that have come out make it clear that this is not the Captain America that has been among my favorite heroes since the 80s, that it is instead based upon the filth-infested ultimates, which I completely despise. Those elements are sufficient- life experience tells me that I'm going to completely hate that film. Maybe this Cap film is just the Cap you want to see. Not me. The one I want to see is at the top of this thread.

not for nothing but its possible that the cap movie and the avengers movie can b very simular to this series. Think about it the screen shots of the Cap Amer game show him infiltrating a castle.....same clip we just seen.....the short in SDCC shows red skull looking for somthing norse.....in this series he has found something norse.....it is said LOKI is in the avenger movie and look at all the chaos he has cause in this series! I'm just saying its a thought. Maybe its not the exact same but maybe along the same lines and they are just trying to see the reaction of people since there is sooooo much riding on these movies?

Kinda surprised to see Wolverine in these, even in Cameo. If they can't put him in the movie universe(which sucks), I'm surprised they put him in this cartoon, happy, but surprised. I thought these were being made to accompany the movie universe, are they working on a deal to allow mutants in it?

The movie rights and the cartoon rights have nothing to do with each other at all.
