As you all know, Discovery Kids is no more. It is being replaced by The Hub, which launches October 10th. It will launch with a new Transformers show, and a new G.I. Joe show. The channel has announced the voice cast for both. Check it out below.

"Transformers Prime" (Hub Original Series, animated)
Cast includes: Peter Cullen ("Transformers" Trilogy – Optimus Prime), Frank Welker ("Transformers" Trilogy - Megatron), Gina Torres ("MadTV"), James Remer ("Dexter"), Josh Keaton ("Justice League: Circle of Two Earths"), Kevin Michael Richardson ("The Batman"), Markie Post ("The Fall Guy"). Produced by Hasbro Studios.

"G.I. Joe Renegades" (Hub Original Series, animated)
Cast includes: Charlie Adler ("Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen"), Lee Majors ("Six Million Dollar Man"), Clancy Brown ("Shawshank Redemption"), Jason Marsden ("Batman: The Brave and the Bold"), Johnny Messner ("Tears of the Sun") and Kevin Michael Richardson ("The Batman") Produced by Hasbro Studios.

The network is also bringing back the classics Transformers: Generation 1 and G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero.

"Transformers – Generation 1"
The iconic ’80s TV series, "Transformers – Generation 1," which launched the global Transformers entertainment franchise, introduces audiences to the Transformers, sentient robotic beings from Cybertron who crash land on Earth and are divided into two opposing factions, the Autobots and Decepticons. Produced by Marvel Productions and Sunbow Productions.

"G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero"
In this popular animated series, viewers are reintroduced to the G.I. Saga, featuring the fearless G.I. Joe team working to combat Cobra, an evil organization bent on world domination. Around the world, battling on land, sea and air whenever there is trouble, G.I. Joe is there. Produced by Marvel Productions and Sunbow Productions.

This is going well so far. If the new G.I. Joe show follows Resolute's example, it could be good. I'm hoping Soundwave gets a huge role in Prime.
