Courtesy of Marvel, the latest micro-episode of The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes is online. This episode follows the events of "Hulk vs. The World", where we last saw the jade giant ready to face off an archer & a seductive spy, SHIELD agents.

"The Hulk may be able to take on tanks, assault choppers, and heavy artillery, but what about two of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s most highly trained agents? Introducing...Hawkeye and the Black Widow!"



Brilliant! Though I can't see Black Widow facing off The Incredible Hulk, I love the different capabilities of Hawkeye's arrows, minus the freeze thing. And I really like the idea of SHIELD interfering with General Ross' "Hulk" hunts. If they use this in the live-action Avengers film, I think SHIELD will definitely bring out the Hulk we've always desired;

i can accept this defeat since the hulk really was with his guard down and he got shot with stuff that made him into his banner form...
but if he mad, he shouldn't go down unless thor or hulkbuster armor is unleashed upon him

the Hulk get taken out by Black Widow and Hawkeye The Hulk can withstand a missile full on but a taser in the Back and hes down for the count its the writers trying too progress the story they should just made him pass out after saving the Sheild ship from that missle

I'm surprised at the positive reaction. I thought people would be flipping their shit over Hawkeye and Tasha working for SHIELD.

As far back as the Silver Age, there have been stories that established that Widow doesn't speak with a Russian accent. In fact, she'd kinda be a shitty spy if she spoke English with a thick accent indicating she was from an enemy nation. For whatever reason, they gave her an accent in the widely-played Ultimate Alliance games (which makes even less sense given that they take place very long after her debut), so I guess that contributes to the perception.

And what's not to get about them taking influence from the movies?

Why they want to make more Hulk? Hulk is pathetic. If I was a military I would want to make more Hawkeye. With no superpower, with some arrows, he was able to defeat the stronger creature on Earth.
I hate this cartoon. It's too stupid.

Hawkeye id cool but he cant whoop anybody, Longshot can whoop anybody he has the power of luck on his side lol. I liked the cartoon yes Widow and Hawkeye beat the Hulk but it happens even in the comics themselves, remember Secret Wars when Spiderman beat the entire X-men in a scuffle? He back handed Wolverine like he was a little bitch, beat Colossus and all the rest very easily. This is a fantasy world and sometimes lesser heros beat greater heros its all good.

I love where this is going i always wanted to be a hulk fan but he was always more of a bad guy than a good guy with no control he cant be a super hero . If he gets a little control like here he becomes a super hero and can be on the avengers it is perfect . But it needs to be just a little control because the more control he gets the weaker he will be .

Gotta agree with griff, Kes, and Ceefus. This is the first problem I've had with this show. Hulk is the STRONGEST THERE IS!!! Hawkeye and Black Widow are cool, but they wouldn't stand a chance against Hulk. However, I like where they're going with this Shield dark conspiracy thing. I disliked the fact that SHIELD in IM2 didn't have that feel.
