Variety has confirmed that Primetime Emmy-nominee William Jackson Harper (The Good Place; Midsommar) has joined the cast of Marvel Studios' highly anticipated Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
Further details on his part are currently locked away in the Quantum Realm, but the rumor mill has been churning all day, with wild rumors about who The Good Place breakout might be playing.
Harper joins a cast headlined by Paul Rudd (Scott Lang/Ant-Man) and Evangeline Lilly (Hope van Dyne/Wasp), with a supporting cast consisting of Michael Douglas (Hank Pym), Michelle Pfeiffer (Janet van Dyne), Kathryn Newton (Cassie Lang), Jonathan Majors (Kang the Conqueror), Randall Park (Jimmy Woo), and Bill Murray in an undisclosed role.
The Marvel Comics villain M.O.D.O.K. will also appear.
Peyton Reed completes his trilogy with the upcoming threequel, this time utilizing a screenplay from Jeff Loveness (Rick and Morty; Avengers: The Kang Dynasty).
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania hits theaters on February 17, 2023.
In the film, which officially kicks off phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Super-Hero partners Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) return to continue their adventures as Ant-Man and the Wasp. Together, with Hope’s parents Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer), the family finds themselves exploring the Quantum Realm, interacting with strange new creatures and embarking on an adventure that will push them beyond the limits of what they thought was possible. Jonathan Majors joins the adventure as Kang. Director Peyton Reed returns to direct the film; Kevin Feige and Stephen Broussard produce.
